Mariah-Storm @spleen, wow, thats a damn big colt xd id be scared to see what he looked like as a fully grown adult! ((o__0 not really... he's two years old. By age two, horses have usually reached almost their full height. My horse was about 14 or 14.1 hands when I got him as a two-year-old... his final, mature height was 14.2.))

*Freebird knew there were other creatures on the island, the smells came strong. She had left the quiet forests and had come to the open and airy lands. She stood next to a big lake, the edges of the giant pool were clear as mud but the closer to the center you got, the clearer and cooler the water got. It was a deep lake, too deep to venture much further than a few feet, at 5 feet in her withers had been submersed. She could see the mountains in the distance, calming and large they spread over most of the area. Before venturing out to the open, she had stayed on the coast of the island in the forested areas, it was clearer and less dense near the ocean. The skies seemed to be gray and full of storm clouds.*

Goth stopped dead. He had been running for almost ten minutes without slowing, and his breath came in short, quck bursts through his flaring nostrils. He had picked up the scent of another horse. It was very closeby; that much he could tell, and as he turned around towards it's source he saw a roan mare at the edge of a thick forest. Panic rose within him. Though he had made up his mind to find another of his kind, and was sure he had made the right descision, the mere sight of this mare made him want to dissappear from the world once more. Without another thought, he turned on a hoove and attempted an escape.

*Freebird heard a noise behind her, the sound of a very out of breath horse. She turned her head, her ears pricked forward just in time to see a black figure heading the opposite direction of her.* "huh.."

*only being 4 months pregnant she tried to be careful, not running too fast, trying not to bump into anything with her side, and especially trying to be cautious around the forested areas, in fear of some carnivourous creature attacking her.*

Jumping beneath the cover of the grass, though he was still clearly visable, Goth fell still. What am I doing, he thought, she undoubtedly saw me. He knew that no matter what he was feeling, and no matter how much he loathed to do it, he had to approach the mare.
He stood up and shook off, and with a deep breath, called out to her: "I am Goth. I mean no harm. What is your dubbance, my Lady?" His voice cracked in hesitance.

He trotted up to her. "Freebird. Hm." He contemplated her name for a moment before contiuing- "And do you know of a herd that roams these lands?" He swished his silken banner back and fourth, swatting flies, and regarded her with blank features.

I suppose..There isn't much else to do and I've been grazing all day *Freebird looked around her, behind her was a lake, then mountains, infront was a dark forest and with no idea where to start she began to walk toward the lake, going around it*

Faolan snorts, shaking his head. He had sensed a mare earlier and quickly noticed another nearby; he recognized the scent of a stallion and supposed that she was his mare and that there was no use bothering to chase after a girl that he can't have... or anyone that he couldn't make good company out of, for that matter. Not that he minds much. The stallion is accustomed to leading the life of a loner, not necessarily by choice, not necessarily by force. He resumes trudging along in his lax stance, head down, ears drooping, hooves rising and falling mere inches from the ground. He ponders what lies beyond the forest of this strange land...
