Some of my favorite characters from games:
Dante - Devil May Cry series
Sold Snake - Metal Gear Solid series
Red XIII - Final Fantasy VII
Chris Redfield - Resident Evil
That's all I can think of at the moment.

I don't know, really. I tend to like Chris more, but they're both pretty hardcore. Leon gets more points for RE4 though, with all the new added abilities, such as kicking doors in or jumping through windows.
We'll have to wait for RE5 to see how a new Chris plays out.

Yeah, these are the best of the best in my eyes, but I do find a hell of a lot of characters cool!
