"Why are you blushing Lazulisea?" -Mackay asked her as she tried to hide her wings. "You liked it when I called you pretty?" -He smiles a little and continues speaking.- "I'm glad you did, I always like it when people feel good over compliments." -Mackay cracks his neck and starts to preen his feathers. Almost instantly he seemed to have lost his focus but then speaks up again.- "You don't have a mate right? But do you have children already? I met some Phoenii that don't have a mate but do have children." [10]

"I don't have a mate, nor any children. It's just me..." Lazulisea tried to stop blushing, but she couldn't help it. Why did she have to be cursed this way?
Lazulisea glanced over him and blinked. "I don't think you have anyone either, since you're talking to me this way..."

"I sure don't have kids or a mate. I'm not even sure if I want a mate for life. But kids, that's something else. I wouldn't mind getting kids in time. But I really don't know if I'd want to be with just one female Phoenii." -Mackay spoke how he felt about things. Not many in his nest were mated and still had children. And all of them seemed to be doing nicely without a partner- "Do you want a mate?" -He bluntly asked Lazulisea- "Maybe in time I would but right now?" -Mackay shrugs and continues speaking.- "Right now I think I want to stay single." Lazulisea didn't have an answer for Mackay's question. She though she did... but he made her think differently.
"Well.... I would like a mate. Maybe not right now, but in the future prehaps. And kids..." She stared into the pondwater to clear her thoughts. "Kids would be nice. Troublesome, but nice." Lazulisea had enough experience with kids, having dealt with loads of them in the time she spent in the nest.
"Are you asking...?" She couldn't finish her question, thinking it sounded too rude.

"Am I asking? Well, you are pretty and.. I dunno, maybe I would like kids with you. But we hardly know eachother right?" -He started to feel a little insecure. All of a sudden he didn't know what to say to her anymore so instead he hopped over to her.- "What I do know is this." -Mackay leaned forwards and planted a kiss on her cheek. Well that was his plan atleast. His kiss landed right on her beak. When he realised that he quickly pulled back and got a head as red as a tomato- [11]

Lazulisea pulled away from Mackay on instinct, and rubbed where he had kissed him. She didn't expect that to happen, especially since she just met him today.
Lazulisea opened her mouth to speak, but her voice came out in a croak. Quickly shutting it, she just gazed into Mackay's eyes with a mournful and confused look. Why did you do that? thought Lazulisea.

~Mackay overcame his blushing and moved closer and closer and gently nuzzled her cheek.~ "I'm sorry Lazulisea. That kiss was meant to go on your cheek." ~Mackay felt so clumsy that he missed her cheek but very gently kept nuzzling her cheek.~ "I like you and just wanted to show you that by kissing your cheek. I'm so clumsy and feel so ashamed that I kissed your beak instead. Is there anything I can do to make up for my bluntness?" ~He spoke in a slightly softer voice then before waiting for her to respond to him.~ [8]

"Uh..." Lazulisea attempted to answer, but kept on stuttering. When she calmed down, she finally got her word clear enough.
"It's nothing... really..." She paused, thinking of the right words to say. "A kiss on the beak is the same as a kiss on the cheek... They both show affection, don't they?" Before she could stop herself, Lazulisea straightened up and planted a kiss on Mackay's beak.

-Mackay closed his eyes as Lasulisea kissed him on the beak. A strange feeling flowing through his body making him move closer towards her. After a little while he opened his eyes and gently broke the kiss.- "It surely shows affection." -He spoke while catching his breath.- "That was a really pleasant kiss Lazulisea. I could get used to kisses like that from you." -Not realizing what he just said he moved closer and gently cuddles up against her. Softly he places a wing around her and leaned in a bit trying to give her another kiss.- [9]

Lazulisea whispered a thanks for his complement on her kiss. She never suspected that a day in her quiet place was going to end up like this. Nor that she would be this lovey-dovey.
Lazulisea didn't flinch when Macaky closed in for another kiss. In fact, she smiled and lean foward, completing the kiss. She's getting used to love, and liking to kiss.

-Mackay moved even closer and held her softly with his wing giving her another tender kiss.- "I have this feeling," -He said after breaking the kiss- "but I don't know how to discribe it. It's a mix of really liking and a feeling of loving you. Is it wrong to feel like that after such a small time?" -He looked into her pretty eyes and nuzzled her softly.- "I hope you have those feelings too. I'm not saying we have to get married right away or so. I do want to get to know you better and I would love to.." -Mackay stopped for a moment and thought carefully for a moment before speaking again.- "I'd love to have children with you." [11]

"Well..." Lazulisea's head was in a fog from Mackay's kissing. "There's always love at first sight... I think that's what it is..." She cooed from being nuzzled by her love, and bent in for another kiss.
But when the word 'children' sliced though the air, Lazulisea quickly opened her eyes and stepped back a little. "Ch-children?" She stuttered, but continues gazing into Mackay's eyes. "I'm sorry, but is that what you said?" After a quick thought, she added "I mean, it would be lovely... but..." Lazulisea couldn't say it, but somthing was holding her back.

-Mackay wanted to move closer but suddenly stepped back a bit.- "Did I say something wrong Lazulisea?" -He looked at her wondering what he could have said wrong.- "I did say children. You like children don't you?" -Mackay moved a bit closer to her still wondering what he could have done or said to have her startled.- [6]

"Yes... I like children..." Lazulisea said. "And there's nothing wrong with you... It's just that..." She poofed up her feathers and sighed. "I don't feel like I'm ready for it... even though I'm physically ok..." Lazulisea glanced downwards and allowed Mackay to come closer.
"Do you have this feeling?" She asked, on the verge of tears.

-Mackay looks surprised and backs off a little- "I thought this is what you wanted." -He spoke in a slightly disappointed voice as he turned around.- "I'll guess I'll see you around someday then." -He prepares himself and flies up but before he flies off he says.- "And still I like you a lot. A pity it went this way." -Mackay then flies off and flies into the direction of his roost.- [8] [add up points please]
