Steph, the oldest of the three princesses at 19, is about to be crowned queen as Arly steps down from the thrown. She is beautiful, fair skinned with dark hair and large almond shaped grey eyes. Steph is level-headed and strong of will, the perfect candidate for queen. She loves her people and her country, and is willing to dedicate herself to them.

Tuff, the middle princess of 16 years old, is quiet and dedicated to her studies. She is going to be Steph’s main council (along with a group of highly trusted people appointed by Arly) when Steph becomes queen. Tuff knows the history of the kingdom completely, and will be able to council Steph in any way she would need. She is pale, yet beautiful with her clear steel eyes and dark hair giving her an air of mystery as she carries around an armload of books from the castle’s large library.

Seren, the youngest princess at 12, would rather be out in the fields with the wild horses than in the castle with her family, the upper court, and the servants. She loves animals and being outdoors. Her skin is golden tan, an effect of her being outside most of the year, and her hair is highlighted gold from her time in the sun.

The upper court of the kingdom loves the three princesses, having shared the castle with them all their lives. They will swear loyalty to Steph without thinking twice and trust Tuff and Seren without fail.

But alas, there are those in the kingdom who do not wish Steph to become queen. Those are the Renegades, who do not want a solitary power, but rather no leaders at all, except for themselves. The Renegades are plotting, and have been since Arly anounced that Steph was to become queen two years previous. They do not want the coronation to happen.
