The trees silently danced to the wind as Rena sat in the harmonic ritual,facing the Academy. The students sat in class, obviously bored to death by Iruka's lecture on genjutsu. The village was busy but the air was silent. The way she liked it. Peace and quiet...

Her weekly grocery-shopping all done, Aiko walked slowly back to her apartment, making a small detour by the academy on her way. She'd never actually taken a course in the building, but she had soaked up the nostalgia that her teammates had for the place, and sometimes she sat down for a quick lunch in the area.
However, as she was walking down the cobblestone path, she saw a girl who seemed to be an academy student. Well, that wasn't right. It wasn't break time. She paused and considered the girl for a second or two.. the only conclusion Aiko could come to was that the girl was skipping.
"Aren't you supposed to be in class?" She called to the student, looking curious.
((sorry, I had to think of what I was going to say too. :] ))

"Huh? No...I've graduated some time ago. I'm 15!"
She replied hastily. It was true, that she was short for her age being only a sickening 5'3", but she didn't look that young! Did she...?
"I'm just watching them...you know, for old times sake?"

"Aha..Okay!" She said, grinning slightly. "Sorry! I'm not good with guessing ages. I thought you might've been at least thirteen or so, you know? Aiko shrugged "The education back home it was a bit different."

Aiko looked slightly uncomfortable for a few seconds, though when she spoke, her voice sounded completely normal. "I was from Kirigakure, but I guess you could say I'm stuck here for a bit. I don't mind, though." She said, grinning childishly and tucking a few ginger hairs behind her ear with a free hand. "This place is nice and comfy."

She smiled.
"Yep! Make yourself comfortable here because Krigakure is a long way home!"
She smiled and held out her hand.
"My name is Kaikeo Rena! But you can just call me Rena."

Actually, it kinda makes sense to use it...I mean its a good village to use, because of how secretive it is. "blank canvas to project on". :]
By the way, Aiko isn't wearing her hitai-ate, but meh, it doesn't matter. ))
She gave the other girl what she hoped resembled a friendly smile.
"Aiko" she said simply. Her blue eyes traveled from Kaikeo's hand to the bags in her own. "Oh...um..." Aiko shifted her groceries over so that she had a free hand and grasped the other girl's "Nice to meet you?"
