She swung her staff full circle, momentarily creating a sheild of ice, dissapating the attack. Her guardian constantly placed the positions of everything in her mind while she swung her staff to block his attacks.

Again and again he slammed his flaming long sword against her shield, getting nowhere. Though to be honest, the flames were getting larger and the heat more intense. Despite her shield, she would eve be able to feel the intense heat of the flames which seemed to bother Kris little.
Behind Mercy the lich appeared, slowly blurring itself into this reality. It’s scythe was only held in one hand, and it’s other held limply before it, ready to perform it’s soul snaring ability. It would plunge his hand, in an ethereal form, into his victims upper body and grip hold of their heart, where the soul was kept. He could either than manipulate or destroy his victim. It would appear that Kris was only a diversion.

The wind grew harsher, and it began to hail. Mercy smiled. the hail bounced off, echoing softly in her mind, helping her envision the area better.
'I doubt even you could maniupulate her heart of ice." Darya whispered soflty, gliding past him, incraesing the intesity of the storm

The ignited flames upon his sword began to blow about with the wind. Well this wasn’t very good, and Craigo had already taken a step back as Mercy’s GF already made a move. Maybe he’d have to rethink these tactics to match his opponents. Kris performed the hand signal for barrier in the air, but nothing happened. He knew he hadn’t obtained the spell or even encountered it other than the ones the SEED had or the instructors. But Craigo knew what it meant. The lich let out a deafening moan of agony, one that would make the purest of hearts weep and tremble. Everything went dark, and the hail disappeared. The entire area was consumed in a barrier, specifically a darkness barrier. No light could enter the battlefield, and neither could the weather affect them. Of course a breeze still emanated from Mercy’s GF, but the sky was clear of clouds.
The only light left was the light of his blade. With fluid movements he attacked, his GF still emanating the deafening moan.

Mercy smiled. Darkness was her element. She had lived in it for so long. She started the whisper an incatniation as she blocked his attacks. Darya smiled. They had practiced this many times before.
