"So the dog has a name after all," she chuckled before releasing his hair and smacking his back with the crop, reddening the skin of his back as she moved her knee so her foot pressed down on his upper back instead of her kneecap as she crouched over him. Again came the smack of the leather crop, Yreva's dark voice barking again. "Apologize for biting me!" Again she whipped him, harder than before so the leather cracked against his skin. "Beg for forgiveness like the dog you are."

A swift slap came to the back of his head.

"Don't you dare raise your voice to me!" she barked before taking a hand full of his hair and forcing his head back. "First you throw that dagger at me then you come lunging at me like some wild animal and then you bite me..."

(Arg. Gotta go...)

"Why did you attack, hm?" she pressed the tip of the horse crop to the back of his head, poking his scalp with the smooth leather before slowly dragging it down between his shoulder blades. "Did you think I was ill tempered enough to strike without warrent?"

"Hate?" she repeated the word in a questioning tone as she lightly trailed the leather flap of the crop's tip over his shoulders and circled his upper back. "That's a rather strong word to be using. Do you prefer masters then? Or is it that you simply do not like the idea of being tamed?"

"The..." she began, but halted as the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end as her fingers gripped themselves to the point her nails were digging into the flesh of her palms. "How dare a dog like you make such an assumption! Power is given to the strong, regardless of gender!" Her foot pressed to the back of his head as she rose her chin slightly. "You know not the suffering I have endured and that suffering shall not be mocked by the likes of you. You're a dog at best, not worthy of even your name to address me as you do."

"Consider yourself fortunate then," she chuckled, her anger subsiding as she restrained it some with aspects of understanding for his situation as her foot removed itself from him. She stood crouched beside him as she lightly tapped the back of his head with the leather tip of her horse crop. "I can empathize with how you feel, but it does not give you the right to lump me with others. You know not where I am from or what I have gone through. I will not stand for such behavior."

Her amber eyes inspected the damage she'd done on his back as she let out a slow sigh, the wound on her leg from his bite almost completely healed. "I have seen the depths of hopelessness in which the very foundation of self is tested again and again as even the most powerful of men shatter beneath their own doubts," she spoke softer with her voice touched with remorse. "You will not do anything I could do by myself. That is not your duty. Your intial duty is to show respect to those whom are deserving of it."

"I am listening, am I not?" she responded with one brow quirked higher than the other before she rolled him on his back, his skin now on the cool floor before she knelt beside him. She looked down at him with an inquisitive look now that she had gotten him talking. "I do not tolerate unreasonable actions such as those you took against me, but I am more than willing to listen when you speak. Throwing daggers and biting at me isn't how to get my attention lest you wish proper punishment to be delivered. Acting as a man, rather than a dog, will receive equal response from me, however."
