Tegwen pulled away, looking up into the stag's eyes, still sad about the whole thing. "Yes, Herne's way..." She wasn't really one to like the whole 'Herne's Way' or 'Herne's Will' sort of thing, but she couldn't deny it was the way things were. It just... wasn't fair sometimes. However, if Finley could handle it, she could at least look strong for him. She wasn't really happy to hear that he was leaving, but she couldn't say that it would be good if an Outrider stumbled along the path. With a hint of regret, she took another step back and nodded her nimble head. "Well, I suppose you're right..." She gave a half hearted smile. "You should visit here more often, y'know. Never know when you might run into me."

Laughing in a light hearted fashion, Finley nodded, "I will try. I do hope to see you again. Take care of yourself, Tegwen. Hold your head high." The stag lifted his head proudly as if to be an example for her. Despite how different they were from everyone else, they really shouldn't be ashamed. This was how they were... and while most wouldn't accept it, they needed to atleast accept it themselves.
"I will return one of these days" he then promised, before turning and walking quietly into the undergrowth once more to be on his way. Although once she couldn't see, the stag's expression wavered, turning sad once more. He would have liked nothing more than to join Tegwen's herd, but it was just not meant to be.

"Well, I'll be seeing you soon, Finley." Her voice was a bit optimistic, mostly for the stag's sake. When he had disappeared down the trail, she turned back round towards the water, opting to stay at her little hide away for a little while longer. She jumped upona large root and layed down, staring into the current. New thoughts were floating through her mind now, confusing and contradicting thoughts. She didn't know what to think anymore, and could only find comfort in the fish that swam below her. Finley was so sad now, so alone... She felt awful for him, living out in the wilderness without anyone to keep him company. She wouldn't mind joining a new herd that he started, but then again, what about her family? Did she not have an obligation to them as well? It was all rather confusing. At the very pit of her heart, she also felt a bit like her mother and all. Considering abandoning her family for a stag? It was... so familiar. Now she at least semi-understood what had driven her mother, although what that whore had done was far worse. At least Tegwen wouldn't be abandoning new born fawns. With a sigh, she rested her head on the bark and watched the little fishes go about their business.
