thu.huyen The views of Dan, Emma, Rupert, and Bonnie have been confirmed as of this year via interviews. Dan: has said several times that if Harry makes the battle, it's going to be Harry/Luna. His Reason: They both have a connection because they had one of their parents die. They also have a strong connection because of that. In My Opinion: Dan fancies blondes. That's just a known fact he admittedly answered in a past interview. It doesn't surprise me that he wants Harry to be with Luna even after canon!Harry had said Luna was his friend only. Emma: has admitted to being a R/Hr shipper. Her Reason: Like all Herons, it's obvious isn't it? In My Opinion: I think Emma is starting to doubt her own ship once she read HBP. She probably didn't like how R/Hr was supposedly set up with all its jealously and shallowness. Come join us Emma! You already said you liked Dan Harry over Ron and Victor! Rupert: wants Ron to die because he doesn't want to see R/Hr be one of the final pairings. His Reason: They argue and get on each other nerves way too much to be consider healthly. In My Opinion: Go Rup! He's an unoffical H/Hr shipper. Bonnie: doesn't seem to like H/G at all. Her Reason: Ginny's crush on Harry is "a wasted dream." In My Opinion: I really liked how she reponded to the R/Hr interviewer (Melissa of TLC) who kept gushing on H/G in HBP. Her "wasted dream" statement really does define what H/G truly was. Go Bonnie too! She's also an unoffical H/Hr shipper. I think it's way too ironic what the actors think because the two people who play Harry and Hermione don't support the pair and the other two actors who play characters most H/Hr shippers hate/want to die don't support OBHWF. Lol. xd I'm surprised, my least favorite actors are supporting what I support. And my favorite actors is supporting what I dislike and a crack pairing that I'm indifferent about? I think the Dan and Emma don't think too much about it since they've been exposed to how their relationship is, while in contrast Bonnie and Rupert probably haven't been too exposed on how people view his character's relationship with Emma's character. Thus a more untainted point of view. Though I do see where Dan is going with Luna/Harry, I don't really think it'll happen. Though it could. Dan and Emma probably have really good on and off set chemistry, it's the managers that force them to think the way they do to stop media from implying something off the story line. Which I wonder if JKR will divulge to the director when they direct HP:HBP. Assuming the 7th book hasn't come out yet. I hope OotP has more Harry/Hermione moments.

I doubt too many Harmonians were pleased with Dan/Emma's perferred pairs but they were fairly happy with Rupert/Bonnie response to shipping.
Actually, both Dan and Emma are hardcore fans of the books. However, I believe Dan has come to accept R/Hr while Emma is reconsidering it. Both Bonnie and Rupert are probably fully aware of R/Hr and H/G since they do have to portray the pairs in the next movie. Rup doesn't like R/Hr but he knows he has to promote it for the sake of the movies/books. I feel sort of bad for him. He was a major fan of the series but he dropped off after the 4 or 5 book came out. The managers are probably one of the biggest H/Hr shippers I've seen. Of course, they're trying to keep the H/Hr and R/Hr balanced. I do think they realized it's not working what with D/E chemistry flying all over the place. I'm starting to doubt that there will be many H/Hr moments in OotP. I've only seen maybe one picture that looks good for our ship. Ah, well, I still have some faith left in the producers.

They're the ones acting, and it's way obvious that Dan and Emma have more chemistry onset than with Rupert and Emma.
It's a shame really.
Perhaps they're saying this to make the fans think that they don't have a secret relationship with each other?

It's a shame really.
Perhaps they're saying this to make the fans think that they don't have a secret relationship with each other? Honestly, I think they are. I was watching this interview of the two of them on Regis and Kelly. As usual, it was DENY, DENY, DENY, and oh, it's suppose to be R/Hr so of course we can't be dating, we're friends- like Harry and Hermione are. xp Dark_yen Yep...really ironic xD but...have you seen photos were Dan and Emma appear? they are always holding hands wink When aren't they? It's like they have a vice like grip on each other when ever they're around the other. It does make for some lovely icons of them though. whee

Those responses are just alright with me, too. I especially am glad that dear little Rupert dislikes R/Hr. I kinda went a different way from him, though... I hoped that Harry and Hermione would both die so that R/hr wasn't the final pairing.

*Hugs to Rupe and Ron* I've always had a soft spot for the two of them. I doubt any fanfic can sway my opinion on them anymore then a R/Hr or H/G can change me my ship. I KNOW! *points to red herring on table* R/Hr and H/G shippers. *beams* To get straight to the point, they rub it into our faces and automatically accuse us of being Weasley's haters just because it gets in the away of H/Hr. Though that partly is true, it's not all of our opinion. Many Harmonians do appreciate Ron (and to some extend Ginny). Unlike some R/Hr, we barely demote Ron's character or Harry's or Hermione's. If you've ever read a R/Hr fanfic, keep this in mind and never read one. The characters are just so OCC it makes HBP look like Romeo and Juliet Special Edition. They treat Ron as a god, Hermione as dirt, Harry as the angsty sidekick, and Ginny as the pretty sporty goddess of the entire universe. sweatdrop That was really off topic but that has been bugging me for awhile.

I don't doubt that everyone else of the hp cast are hardcore fans, but Emma, no she has even read HBP, and she complains about playing Hermione. Daniel did say that he thought that H/G & R/Hr came out of no where, and that he have to reread to see if their were actually clues to it.

Welcome to the guild! Hope you two are settling in nicely.
I actually got the idea from Portkey and decided to sum it up here for the members. I've been reading up on the actors' and their opinions and here's a quick sum up.
Daniel: I haven't read any of his opinions on his kiss with Bonnie yet. Though he keeps pushing this idea, "I want Harry to die." Can I say, really wants to act out his dead scene much?
Emma: Is definitely not looking forward to kissing Rupert. Is actually trying to not think about it any more than she has to. Is it that bad? I hate to see the real Hermione's reaction...
Rupert: Seems to accept R/Hr but no word yet on how he's about interacting more with Emma on screen
Bonnie: Surprise overall.

I do adore Rupert and Bonnie. The movie folks tend to downplay them a bit.
