If it was New Moon (which I'm sure it is. I've only been reading New Moon recently.) it was within the first few chapters. Last night I had only gotten up to Edward saying goodbye to Bella in the woods.

Hey, I'm thinking of just posting all the Personal Correspondences from Lexicon in one sticky so people don't have to go to the site if they want to look something up.
Think it's an okay idea?

I have a question!! In New Moon Why can't Jack get along with edward cullen, i'm mean so what he's a werewolf and edwards a vampire. Why can't they try to get along? i'd expect them to get along since bella wants to be friends with the both of them.

Jacob resents Edward because he left Bella, but was accepted without question when he came back. Plus, Jacob has a crush on Bella himself.
As far I know, Twilight and New Moon are Stephenie's first published works.
The flower on the New Moon cover is a ruffled tulip.

I have a question. I don't know if there's an answer to it, but here it is:
Do vampires have blood in them? Because in Twilight, in the meadow, when Bella was looking at Edward's arm, she said there were veins in it. But when she had her head against his chest, she couldn't hear anything, so that would imply his heart isn't beating. Like I said, I don't know if this question has an answer, I was just curious. redface

Um. I don't think so - except for right after they feed? Just because he had veins didn't mean he had blood in them.

@Punker_Chica: To add onto what complex_ity_ said, Jacob also just hates vampires in general because he blames them for his ability to change into a werewolf; if vampires didn't exist, there'd be no need for werewolves.
@Glitterbean: Here's an explanation from Lexicon's first PC:
Stephenie Meyer Q: Do the vampires have blood in their veins even though their heart no longer pumps? What would happen if they were cut or injured in some way? A: Most human fluids are absent in my vampires. No sweat, no tears, no blood besides that which they ingest–they don’t have their own blood. They do sort of have saliva–the venom makes their mouths wet, at least. When they drink blood, it runs through their body and makes them strong. It floods through their old blood ways, though they don’t have circulation anymore. It lightens their eyes* and flushes their skin slightly. If a vampire were cut, there would only be blood if he/she had freshly drunk blood (and drunk a lot). Otherwise, there would only be a bit of venom. It would be like cutting into granite.

Okay, I have another question: if a vampire does get cut, will they heal?

XxfushigipinayxX MelancholyAlice If Bella is immune to vampire powers... how does Alice and Jasper's powers work on her?
(and does that mean Victoria could have powers over her too? Ex. Voices) Quoting Lexicon's Personal Correspondance #10 Bella has a very private MIND. No one can touch her there. What Jane does is entirely illusion–you only THINK you’re feeling pain. What Aro does is like what Edward does–he gets inside your head.
What Jasper does effects not the thoughts, but the body. He doesn’t make you THINK you are calm, he actually puts your body into a calmed state. Or angry, or whatever. It’s physical rather than mental. Alice sees the outcome of Bella’s decisions, because those outcomes happen in the real world, not just inside Bella’s head.but jane tries it on her and it doesnt work i thought at least i thought that cause the face she makes when edward looks up at her with a smug smile on his face.

Correct, Jane's power doesn't work on Bella. Only "physical" powers can affect her. Jane's power is a "mental" power, she makes you think you are feeling pain.
