CHAPTER 5: BACK ON TRACK!
Scene: morning, around 10 o' clock, a street headed to the car-rental lot.
*in front of the hotel*
Nyamo: *inside talking to the supervisor, paying her for the night we stayed at the hotel*
yukari: *yawn, stretches* well... after last night, we can finally get some progress done on the road today! *looks frantically around the street* hey... hey! where's my car!?
Nyamo: *comes out of hotel* you launched it over a bridge, remember?
yukari: oh... right... i forgot about that!
sweatdrop so, i'm guessing we're headed to that rent-a-car place, right?
Nyamo: yes, just as long as you dont shoot that one over the next bridge, it'll be free for us because i know someone who works there and he says he can lend one out for free.
Yukari: HAHA! Another car, another crash! rules of the road!
Everyone:
stare sweatdrop *everyone starts walking down the street*
Tomo-chan: yomi! that was FISHING for fish! not EAT FOR FISH! you look bigger than ever!
Yomi-san:
stressed *hits tomo-chan upside the head*
tomo-chan: hey... *holds head* save some for the fishes, yeah? haha
yomi-san:
stressed sweatdrop Yukari: ahhh... i had so much to drink last night, i can almost remember it!
*flashback sequence lol*
*end flashback*
Nyamo: yeah... i remember it... i had to take you outside the bar just so you would stop yelling at the bartender "WHERE'S MY SUKI!?" geez, he thought you were in love with him...
(note: suki: love in japanese, what she meant was sake, which is one of japan's most common alchohol)
Yukari: Who is this friend that works at this rent-a-car place anyway? do i know him?
Nyamo: no, i dont think so....
*everyone arrives at the rent-a-car lot, Nyamo walks up to the counter, the attendant was facing the other way*
Nyamo: *whispers* oi! nii-san! it's me!
yukari: *eavesdropping* heh... nii-san? i didnt know you had siblings
Nyamo:
stressed knock it off yukari...
stare *still trying to get the attendant's attention* Nii-san! it's me! Nyamo!
*the attendant turns around, it's Kimura-sensei* ...hello
everyone:
Kimura-sensei: here you go... *puts keys on table*
Everyone: FWAAAAHHHH!!!! IT'S YOU!!!!
*nyamo grabs keys from table and runs off, everyone else runs off following her*
*halfway across the lot, everyone stops, panting from the run*
Me: h-h-hhow'd he get h-h-here!?
yukari: b-b-b-beats me... he's really something else... *sigh*
Nyamo: well, yukari, lets find out which one of these cars is yours... he described to me what the car looked like over the phone yesterday. he said it was a red compact.
*everyone spreads off, looking for a red compact car*
Osaka-san: oi! ne ne! i found it!
*everyone runs toward her*
Me: alright, where is it?
*osaka-san points at conveyer belt with one of those car cruncher things, a big chunk of metal, formerly some kind of red car, was being placed on a junk heap* see! a red compact car!
Yomi-san: oi, you really are something else...
Nyamo: *turns around* AH! there it is! *points at red compact car*
*yukari's jaw drops* KYAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!! IMAGINE THE MILEAGE I CAN GET IN ONE OF THOSE!!!!!!!! NYAMO!!!! GIVE ME THE KEY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!
Nyamo:
stare fine... hold on. *searches pockets* uhh.... uh oh.... i kinda lost the keys... CRAP!
Yukari:
stressed stressed stressed stressed stressed Nyamo:

yukari: HOW CAN YOU LOOSE SOMETHING AS PRECIOUS AS KEYS TO A CAR LIKE THIS!?!?!? TELL ME THAT!!!! KYAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!
Nyamo: *sigh* alright, everyone start looking for the keys... i must have dropped them when we were running away from kimura...
*everyone scatters around, looking on the floor for the keys*
Osaka-san: I FOUND IT!!! *holds it up into the air*
*everyone else* oooooooooooooooooh!
yukari: OSAKA! YOU HAVE A HALF A HEARTBEAT TO HAND ME THOSE KEYS RIGHT NOW!!!
Nyamo: yukari! calm down! it's just a car!
Osaka-san: h-h-here you go, yukari-sensei... *slowly hands keys to yukari, yukari snatches it from her hands*
Yukari: yes....yes!....YES!! YYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!! I CAN FEEL THE POWER OF THE CAR THROUGH THE KEYS ITSELF!!! HURRY UP! LETS GET IN AND GO FOR A "TEST DRIVE"!!!!!!!
Nyamo: uhh... well... i think it IS time to go anyways... i'm sorry Guanatao, sakaki, and kaorin, but you're still gonna have to stay in the car with her. Tomo-chan... dont try to drive... please... *sigh*
tomo-chan:
twisted Chiyo-chan: *behind nyamo, talking to her* i-i-i-i'm still in your car.... r-r-r-right???
Nyamo: of course. we need the younger people alive for the future.
*sakaki, kaorin, and i give nyamo a dead stare
stare *
Me: *to myself* i'm not THAT old...
Yukari: *jumps into car and revs engine* heheh!
twisted twisted twisted EVERYONE! HOP IN! *everyone that's supposed to be in her car SLOWLY enter it, and fasten their seatbelts VERY VERY tightly*
Nyamo: well, we're gonna head off to get my car. DONT kill anyone with that car. we need both the people and the car in one piece.
Yukari: yeah, yeah, whateveeeeeeeeeeeeer!!!!!! *floors pedal of car and takes off to the street, drifting perfectly onto the street and headed off toward the hotel*
Nyamo: *looks toward osaka-san, chiyo-chan, and yomi-san* *sigh* well, at least we still have pictures of them...
everyone:
stare *our car drifted corners, took sudden turns, slid all the way across an entire street, and almost hit a hotdog stand while on our way toward the hotel to wait for Nyamo. of course, yukari got impatient of waiting for them to get here on foot, so she decided to go joy riding... crap*
Me: *holding onto railing of door* WHO WAS THE MADMAN THAT GAVE YOU A LICENCE!?!?!
Yukari: Wah? you need a licence to drive!?
*everyone in car*:
eek eek eek Tomo-chan: GOOD ONE! GOOD ONE!
4laugh *meanwhile, back with Nyamo on the sidewalk*
yomi-san: remind me again why we're out here in the middle of kyoto?
chiyo-chan: we're supposed to be helping Guanatao-dono get his passport from Okayama, remember?
yomi-san: oh, right, right, forgot about that.
osaka-san: *staring at the floor* you know how people are a certain height? like, for example, i think i'm almost 5 feet tall. if i were to take 5 people feet and stack them up, would it be the same height as me?
Nyamo: osaka... you really have to think about what you're saying... *sigh*
Osaka-san:
sweatdrop chiyo-chan: do you hear that? *gears shifting* it sounds like a fast car *sound of muffler* yeah, it's definately a fast car *horn honking, everyone turns around*
IT'S YUKARI-SENSEI!!!
Nyamo: EVERYONE OUT OF THE SIDEWALK!!!! *shoves everyone into the store they were passing by*
*yukari's car passes right over where they were standing a few seconds ago, yukari leans out window* BAKA!!!! HURRY UP!!! *keeps speeding down the road*
Me: *holding for dear life on the handle of the door* yukari... can ya slow down a bit? i think we hit a few people back there... and kaorin isnt looking so good either...
s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Yukari: *looks on rearlooking mirror* *sigh* fine, but just so the engine can cool down. *she stops at the hotel, at the same time, Nyamo and her group arrive there*
Tomo-chan: WHY YUKARI!? WHY DO YOU HAVE TO STOP SO SOON!?!?!
Kaorin:
WE FINALLY STOPPED!
Nyamo: well, it looks like you didnt COMPLETELY kill them already. it's a new record for you, yukari.
Yukari: just shut up and get in your car.
Nyamo: geez, fine, calm down for once.
*everyone in her group gets into nyamo's car as she drives up from the back parking lot*
Yukari: alright, enough idling, LETS GO!!!!!!!!! *takes off speeding down the road again*
Me: CRAP! IT'S LIKE A NEVER-ENDING ROLLERCOASTER!
Tomo-chan: SAYONARA, KYOTO!!! *passing the "you are now leaving Kyoto city" sign*
CHAPTER 6: A LITTLE CARELESS
Scene: A road somewhere in Hyogo
Me: oi, once we pass through Hyogo, we'll be on a straight path towards Okayama.
Yukari: i know, i know, sit down brat, i know my way around Japan. remember, i'm a native and you're a foreigner! *BOOM! CRACK! everyone goes flying forward, again, as far as the seatbelts will allow*
Me: oh my gosh, yukari, if it's not cows, it's a bridge, in this case, it's neither of em. what on earth could you have crashed into now!?!?
yukari:... a street lamp...
Kaorin: sakaki-san... do you think it would have been better for me to have stayed in Tokyo?
Sakaki-san: *looking out window* yukari-sensei, look outside, to the right. There's a big crack in the floor from the street lamp.
*everyone gets out of the car, the car is smoking due to the crash, but everyone is more intrested into the crack in the floor*
Yukari: woah, i didnt know i hit it THAT hard...
Me: well, i REALLY hope they dont fine you for this. How much would it be now? like around 500,000 dollars american?
Yukari: shut up brat, before i smack you...
stressed *Nyamo's car parks behind the crashed red compact car* YUKARI! I BET YOU ANYTHING YOU GUYS WOULD BE BETTER OFF IF OSAKA DRIVED! *to osaka* no offense, osaka-san
sweatdrop *osaka-san follows the crack down the street and sees something* OI! come here everyone!
Man: HELP ME! *the man seems to be caught and stuck in the crack since the gap of the crack was so big*
Me: hold on, sir! *i run to Nyamo's car, open the trunk, and grab a long thick rope.* grab onto this! *throws rope to man* everyone else, help me out here!
*everyone else grabbed the other parts of rope and pulled until the man came flying out onto the pavement. When he got out, he was unconscience. We all assumed he like knocked his head on the floor when he came out cus it wasnt really that deep of a hole. Nyamo drove him to the nearest hospital there was
when the man woke up on the hospital bed, he looked around to see where he was and looked at his legs to see the damage. they werent that cut, but they were cut to the point where it must have been painful to walk around. Both his legs were wrapped around in bandages*
Man: woah... thank you so much. My name is Mizuro Soku. you can call me Mizu. It seems as though you got yourself in a little bit of an accident back there... well, just your luck, for i happen to be a used-car salesman! i just got a new, but old, car in just recently. it's pretty banged up, it even has alot of water damage, but if anything, it'll be a good replacement for you guys to get you where you gotta go. My van's over there near the little crash site. Anyone mind going to pick it up for me? after that, i can take you to my shop not too far from where that little incident occured, uhh, the people that were in the little car accident can come with me, it seems as though you *points at the ones who got out of Nyamo's car* had your own transportation, how's about you guys follow me and i'll be able to take ya to my lot? *everyone nods*
*Nyamo was the one who went to get the van. Once she got back, the ones who were in yukari's car got into the van and drove off followed by nyamo's car. a little later into the day, when we arrived at the used car lot, yukari made a phone call for a tow-truck to pick up the now-broken rental car.*
Yukari: *sigh* well, if my guesstimating is correct, once we find Guanatao's passport, they should have the rental car fixed up, so we're gonna have to make a trip back here.
Nyamo: well, it's better than paying for a messed up rental car, all we gotta do is pay the mechanic charges on the car
*yukari twitches at the word "pay"*
Me: huh, so where's the car that we're supposed to be taking for now?
tomo-chan: is it fast like yukari's rental car!? BVRROOOM BVRROOOM!
osaka-san: or slow like a seaslug?
chiyo-chan: let's just hope it has working air bags, cus from the way things are looking, yukari's team is gonna need them. BADLY.
Me: yeah, no kidding, i got whiplash so bad right now, my back hurts from all the crashes, also, kaorin and sakaki must be loosing their minds by now.
Mizu: *walking around with crutches* oi, come follow me into the garage so i can show you the car you'll be using for a while.
*everyone follows him into the garage. before he opened the garage door, a large man, wearing nothing but red spandex breifs and red boots, who looked russian or german came from the back. he said something to mizu, i'm assuming he was russian or german because i couldnt understand him. Mizu opened the garage door by pressing a button, and to our suprise, it was yukari's old car!!!*
Yukari: AAAAH!!!! MY CAR!!!!! err... i mean, MY MOM'S CAR!!!!
Me: mom's car?
Chiyo-chan: yeah, she told us during our high school first year summer vacation that it was her mother's car.
Yukari: *trys to speak russian/german to the large man* GGRRANK ROOOU ROOR RIIXING RY RARR! (thank you for fixing my car)
*the russian/german man just looked at her and then walked toward Mizu as the russian/german man pushed the car near the curve. the man then asked Mizu something and Mizu nodded. the large man then started hitting the side of the car*
Yukari: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?!?!?
Man: es gab eine Einbuchtung auf der Seite des Autos.
yukari: ME NO ESPEAKA DA GERMANO!
Mizu: heheh, he said that there was a dent in the car. he was just trying to bump it out.
Yukari: well, can i have the keys so i can get going?
Mizu: now there's the problem... we didnt recive any keys when we got it. they said they found this car at...
Yukari: ...the bottom of some bridge in kyoto, yeah yeah, i know.
Mizu: how'd you know that?
yukari: DIDN'T YA JUST HEAR ME!?!? I SAID IT'S MY CAR!!!
Mizu: oh, right, my bad, bad hearing i guess, it comes around with old age faster now-a-days. *clears throught* well, like i said, we didnt get any keys with it, so we have to hotwire it to get it going. Any of you know how to do that?
Me: *raises hand* ...i do
Mizu: huh? an american? well, no wonder you know how. Well then, i guess you're all set to go, yukari-san.
Yukari: alright, thank you... and for the love of god, can you ask that big paluka to STOP HITTING MY CAR!?!?!
*i hotwired the car, the engine starts and then yukari kicks me away from the driver's seat litterally as soon as she heard the engine go on.* ALRIGHT! LETS GO!
Everyone to Mizu and the German Man: Sayonara, mizu-kun! SAYONARA *everyone mumbles a bunch of names for the german/russian man*
*It's about 9 o' clock on the road, we were just reaching the exiting city limits until...*
Tomo-chan: oi oi, look over there!
*me, sakaki, and kaorin look to our right as we drive by, we see a bunch of people sitting on mats holding sparklets
Nyamo's car passes the same place*
Osaka-san: i wonder what that's all about?
Chiyo-chan: that's called hanabi, which litterally means fireworks. I dont know much about this particular festival though...
yomi-san: well, it looks pretty none-the-less.
Nyamo, chiyo-chan, and osaka-san: yeah
*back in yukari's car*
tomo-chan: *sticks her head out the window and starts raspberrying the people* BIDUBIDUBIDUBA!!!! BAKA!!!!
razz yukari: GET YOUR HEAD BACK IN HERE! I DONT WANNA GET INTO ANOTHER CAR ACCIDENT!
tomo-chan: *sigh* yukari, you're no fun anymore!
yukari: i never said it was gonna be fun!
Me: shut up, both of ya! yukari, keep your eyes on the road, tomo-chan... do whatever, just dont mess with yukari's driving. i already have bad whiplash from the last two car crashes.
kaorin: *laying on sakaki-san's lap* ZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZz
yukari: karoin sure does go to sleep fast... and alot...
Kaorin*thinking*: heheh, but i'm not asleep!
*sakaki-san just stares outside the window*
Me*thinking*: well, at least yukari's driving has improved. i kinda feel sad for the girls on the drive back from Okayama...
yukari: LOOK!! *points at sign that says "OKAYAMA CITY, 2MILES"
Tomo-chan: YAY! YAY! WE'RE ALMOST THERE!
Me: ugh... after all this, i really hope it's there...
yukari: dont worry, it will be there. trust me.
Me: yeah... *lays head on window and stares outside at the passing scenery, eventually falls asleep*
Me*thought, replaying dream*: yukari *with an echoing voice* dont worry, will be there. trust me.
Me: *talking in sleep* it'll... be there.
*it's about 12 o' clock (midnight) now, we arrive at Okayama city.*
Tomo-chan: EVERYONE WAKE UP! WE'RE HERE!!!
*me and kaorin both wake up frantically*
Yukari: lets find a hotel so we can start fresh off tomorrow morning looking for your passport.
Me: alright, sounds good *thought* hmm, maybe yukari DOES have a nice side to her instead of this crazy, relentless lady we all fear, heh
*we eventually find a good hotel
we park both the cars in the back parking lot and go directly into the rooms, i fell asleep as soon as i hit the bed, same with some others, but Nyamo and Yukari took off somewhere until maybe around 3 o' clock for no appearant reason. Drinking i'm guessing, freaking alchoholics... heheh*
(ARE YA GLAD I'M BACK? I know i was kinda late on these chapters and i know i was kinda late on LOGGING BACK INTO GAIA, but i'm back now, so ya gotta enjoy! so, the next two chapters should end the entire thing, i dont know yet, i might try to squeeze in a total of four more chapters before i come to the DRAMATIC CONCLUSION. well, until this, stay tuned for the next chapter: CHAPTER 7: TRUTH LIES IN... A TREE? well, until then, SEE YA THERE!!!)
