Like the new poem. I could really feel your pain through your words. You always have this realness to your poetry.

Thanks. And I'm happy you sense the realness because I never make up emotions or anything. Any events or feelings in my works I have felt. It just makes the poetry so much more alive.

hi hi, its me, love all of em, i may be the odd ball out here but i think ure poems are great just the way they are, some poems are better in stanzas but than you have others that just really come out the way you want them in free verse where you just let the words flow and come as they are. thats my opinion at least.

Raped
Ever say 'no' even though they never stop?
Ever pray it will end but when it's over, you still feel the pain?
Grabbing me;
Using me;
Holding me;
Abusing me.
My warped comfort is that things can be worse;
Even though I ask myself, how much more can go wrong?
I'm tormented by unjust hands of everyone.
I hate how things just refuse to change with time.
Blood can trickle from my flesh-
It doesn't mean a thing.
They keep hurting me,
Yet I blame my fragile soul on myself.
I'm so weak and I'm only getting weaker.
It's amazing how I can feel so numb yet have blistering pain at one time.
No...stop...don't!
No...stop...don't!
No...stop...don't!
Please not again!
What happened to my friends?
Somebody save me!
I'm sick of being abandoned.
No...stop...don't!
Does no one care?
Do I really deserve all of this?
(Shut up b***h!)
No...stop...don't!
Not again!
I need help but can find no refuge,
Just another dark corner where I get abused;
Yet again.
Not again!
Curse this torturing routine.
Grabbing me;
Gropping me;
Touching me;
Holding me.
Make it stop, oh please!
It's too many times now!
My body is not your toy!
It doesn't matter the tears; you never stop
And I don't have the strength to try and prevent it.
I gave up on fighting because it never made them stop.
I just have to wait for the torment to end so I can let the tears rush.
It's funny how you think you reached the bottom of the hole you dug yourself,
Then all of a sudden you're falling again.
I'm still falling;
I'm still crawling.
I don't have any strength to walk or the dignity to keep my head high.
I'm broken in a thousand pieces and I'll never be fixed.
No...stop...don't!
No...stop...don't!
Please, no more!
(Shut up whore!)
I'm not what you say!
I've changed my ways!
I'm still not good, but I'm just used in haunting memories;
They never leave my mind,
Not even for a second since the memory was written.
Empty and dead;
How do you count me as alive?
I'm dying more with time.
Dead girl walking,
You still touch her.
Pushing her;
Pulling her;
Shoving her;
Raping her.
No...stop...don't!
No...stop...don't!
I wish I wasn't here;
Rather be completely gone than half dead.
Take away the oxygen since my heart's already gone.
No...stop...don't!
No...stop...don't!
Please!
No...stop...don't!

I agree,poetry is not true poetry unless it has that connection to oneself within it. Same with music or any other art. I'm the similar in that way; I can tell you which events inspired every one of my poems.

I like "Raped." It's great if you look at it artistically. When you look at it emotionally, it makes me want to cry.

I've got a poem similar to it, called "Ghost," about rape, and how it never really leaves you.
