WoW tWo HoUrS tO gO:
Two hours to go thats all i have to wait Then I'll be there Safe in your arms safe from any pain My dreams may bring
Two hours to go Till your lips Destroy the perfect paint I plastred to mine
Two hours to go Before I dont have to fret Worry or cry Eveything is perfect But only when Im in your arms
Two hours Two hours Can be the longest amount of time When all i can imagine is the safety in your arms
FlUtE sOlO:
One week Then it's the day I have to master the pitch From High B natural to high E natural I fear it can't be done And daddy won't be there to cheer me on
It's to hard to think about The fear building tearing me apart My tone is wavering My runs aren't right i can't seem to stop playing it wrong And daddy won't be there to cheer me on
Maybe if i practice One more hour I swear i won't pull a first year bash my flute into the stand And daddy won't be there to cheer me on
daddy won't be there He can't come this year Thats even harder to bare Then the wavering pitch The forgotten rests Daddy won't be there to cheer me on

WaItInG:
It seems I'm always waiting For Sunday Phone calls Trips with friends
It seems I'm awalys waiting To see when it'll end this fairy tale dream the world of you and me
It seems I'm always waiting For my dad to come home For him to praise my work And to teach me how to cook
It seems I'm always waiting To hear my mother's praise Something that doesn't come to often In fact its very rare
It seems I'm always waiting Expecting to see her face Or hear her bark Even though she's gone
It seems I'm always waiting Till the sunday when You can hold me in your arms
It seems I'm always waiting and waiting I'll never stop waiting.... It seems I'm awlays waiting

I've noticed that your poems seem to have the same rhythmic pattern, and it's great to have your own signature style frame to write by, but maybe it'd be nice if you experimented more with different types of poems...? They're still great. Very emotional, and I like that.

ThE BeAuTy Of A DoG:
They start out fitting in the palm Of your seven year old hand And grow to be lap dogs
Then before you know it It's to late to train them They are stuck on the simplton comands of Sit sit Lay Lay Come here baby girl
They are like children I guess They start tiny and ignorant You can't help but laugh The first time they meet themselves in mirrors Or the first times they stumble over their own feet And you'll never forget their first encounter with snow
But things move too quickly And before you know it They can't fit on your lap Or the end of your bed anymore
You push aside But somehow they are always there When you start to cry Even though you've abandoned them time and time again
The beauty of a dog is that they awlays stay when you need them They never tell your secrets They won't leave you for another
Then in their final days You remember You feel guilty knowing you pushed them away One to many times And now its to late to take them for that walk You know the one you promised Just like when you parents promies to take you batting But never did
The beauty of a dog Is she always loves With all her heart No matter how many times You push her away You tell her to wait Maybe later
The beauty of a dog Is when she died Apart of her still lives Deep inside your heart And you know you will do better

That last poem is dedicated to Lacy Marie She died September 9, 2006 from and auto immune desease. I loved her very much and i miss her more then words can say. This is the second time i have attempted to capture how i feel about it all. I can't seem to do it the way it is in my head...but in the end all i can do is look at her grave and cry, my mascara leaving black tears along my cheeks...ruining the imagie i keep trying to make to please the world....

No SlOwInG DoWn:
I'm about to break Snap in two This roller coaster ride Has got to end Before I go out of control
It's all happening way to fast High School You and me Lacy's death A new job A quick desicion that can change my whole life
Why is this all happening Speeding up Untill I think I will get caught and die In the never stopping gears of life
Someone Help me Slow this all down I can't stand it I'm going to crash I'm going to burn in the firey pits The Hell of my own creation
It's all moving too fast I need to slow down Things are speeding up Faster and Faster There's no slowing down

RjEcTeD:
Rejected from the job from the bank from the school the library and the loan
Of all the things i could list I never thought i'd feel this To be able to add my rejection from you To a big long list
All I wanted was to cuddle I put in a plea But in the end rejection is what i got Ignored as you played Dreamblade Cross legged on the floor
Six months on Sunday I put in for some time But got rejected You didn't think I'd care Or did just not want to be here
My mind keeps screaming Rejection You keep getting rejected He doesn't want you
All i wanted was to talk to you To hear about your day The things you did The games you played But you were to busy to tell me a thing Instead you said "nothing" As the red neon sign in my mind Began to blink rejection Rejection Rejection

cant really say that i have a favorite one, they are all so good, makes it almost impossible to pick just one. you have a very unique writing style and i hope that, that never changes. after all without being unique whats the point in writing your own things. ive posted a few of mine in this forum, so feel free to check em out sometime if u have time.

Untitled: This is not another love song Some random thump thump Of a high school romance in full bloom The desperate attraction of flesh and taste
This is not another mistake But a full downward spiral Of two hearts meeting and embracing Chasing dreams hand in hand
This is not the story of them To old before their time But the story of us Learning to love and trust One heartbreak at a time
This is not the end But a bright new beginning Or two risks Possible heartbreaks In each other hands
This is not another Poem Written by a stupid girl But an attempt to show the world How you make me feel.
Untitled Two: The goddess Aphrodite Could not have made a better lover Kind and gentle Always respecting the lady at his side But alas a flawed sapphire is preferred
So I threw him aside Scratching another gouge Into his perfect surface To shinny for me
So still I did not stop To hope and think he would come back But that Aphrodite She had other plans And sent dear old cupid to my side
No sooner was I happy and free His arrow met his mark And sent me after another mans heart
From that point on Cupid had a fight to watch A battle of inner desire For her or me
Though I'm sure she meant a trick She failed (like all gods are meant to) Because Cupid's arrows me there mark

NaKeD:
I'm naked infront of you No matter how many layers I add No matter how hard i try to hide I'm completely naked in your eyes
You see all the lies All the little trigers in my voice The ones that tell you That "I'm really not okay"
How do you do it? How do you rip away my cover Leave me bare to your interpertation And then get it right
MoMmY aNd DaDdY:
Mommy, Whats going on? Why are you mad at Daddy?
Daddy, Why is mommy so upset? Is she sleeping in another bed?
Mommy, You know I'm not five I pick up on the hints you leave behind.
Daddy, You know I'm not so stupid That I don't see whats going on.
Do you guys really take me for a fool? I know you cleaned out Sam's room. I know you slept there last night.
So mommy, Tell me truth Why are you mad at Daddy? Is it something stupid lke last time? Will this be another time in my life That will make me run away and hurt myself?
Daddy, Please just fix what ever it is? I may be 17 but I'm still too young for this!

SiCk Of TaLkInG tO mE:
So you're sick of talking to me Did you know that I wait all day Just to talk to you? That I count down the hours Till i get to hear your voice?
No i bet you didn't I bet when you said that You didn't really think it would burn
You're sick of talking to me Those words, they are like sharp knives Thrust into my overly sensitive heart
Did you know that you keep me saine You keep me from going over the edge WHen they fight when i feel lonely Or everything becomes too much
I bet you knew I've told you so many times And for the moment as I'm close to tears I'm all the matters
But in the end You're sick of talking to me So i won't call I won't text I'll give your space While quietly dying And silently praying you won't leave me

I share the same emotions that you have in Naked and I liked Mommy and Daddy. Sick of Talking to Me reminds me of what my ex always says to me even though I really need to talk to him or my day feels incomplete. Yeah, let me get out of the complications of my personal life and just give you kudos for your good work.
