So, about my theory on Vivi? Does anyone have an opinion?

I actually meant this theory: i think he's immortal. All the other golems had very short life spans and a simplicity to their minds. He didn't share any of that with his fellow golems. I think he was a brilliant screw up. Anybody else's thoughts on that?

Im lighting my pitchforks! mrgreen no i kid. i see where you are coming from however i disagree about his intelligence level. Simply because his speech pattern didn’t come out of a Harvard dictionary does not hint at a degradation of his intelligence. Think back on the mages in the black mage village. They were only one step away from being babies. They built that village and behaved as they did because they were mimicking what they were told was normal. Vivi had a true and real concept of self. Secondly he is not bluntly told he is going to die he is told By the village "Elder" that since he is a golem like them he probably will die as well this however was no guarantee that he would. The others were full models built as tools of war disposable and replaceable. He was a prototype with an ability to evolve like zidane. Who i might add had the potential for divine immortality himself. So the question of immortality being a possibility is not necessarily so far fetched. Also i know he had children if you look in the "Final fantasy role play" forum i actually touched on that subject. Again this does not necessarily negate his possibility for being an immortal. As for vivi being raised by qu...Let me through this at you if you are a normal child raised by a mentally handicapped does that make you mentally handicapped? No. But then again that is a question of nature versus nurture. Now here is another point think of what the other black mages pre set life time was then track vivis life span...it is possible i believe, since his age is known and you can see he is no ordinary Soul dreg golem his incredible life span alone sets him apart. Then the very fact that he is shown to have kids. All the other golems were manufactured. He is capable of reproduction. Setting him as having a gender! Also at the end with his children its obviously a time jump. Think of his age at the time of game play far too young to be a father. So this shows anatomical maturity. He has true physical substance unlike the evidence shown of his other golem kin They are little more than soul energy based automatons with some mutations of child level intellect given the nature of the base material of their construction this is understandable. As i said i think that during the testing and developmental stage vivi was an unforeseen side effect of their monkeying around with the very nature of souls.
