Aysllin entered the ballroom. She looked around and decided to leave the room immedeately. But the guy behind her pushed her towards the dancefloor. She turned around and looked at him for a few seconds. Then she left him alone to find some food and a chair to sit at while she could watch all the other people very closely.....

Tehre wandered around, bored out of his mind. His sister Missy was chatting with other maidens and he just felt out of place. He walked over to the table with the food and picked at a piece of chocolate. He was a very handsome young man and very tall. He ran a finger through his ruffled brown hair and adjusted his mask. what a drag... he thought to himself.

"Business? Oh, I haven't really thought of that. I don't know. They never tell me anything." She shrugged and ate another piece of chocolate.

"Really? That's surprising. When i was your age i was all ready neck deep in the family business," He said rubbing the black cloth around his wrist. "You might consider yourself one of the luckier of us."
He checked his watch on his other wrist and looked around the ballroom.

The young brunette wandered around. Her brother was standing over picking a snack and all her friends were dancing. She was wearing a butterfly mask and wore a long yellow gown. She walked over to a young woman around her age. "Hiya!" She said cheerilly to kohaku. "I'm Missy!" She curtsied.

"Hm? Oh, hi..." She said hesitantly, taken aback at the utter cheeriness that she displayed. "I'm Kohaku, nice to meet you. And, I suppose you'd be right about that, oddly enough." She never really considered herself lucky, but she shrugged away the thought for now to enjoy the party.

Ezra turned away from the two girls and grabbed a glass of champagne from a passing waiter. He undid the buttons on his jacket and readjusted his tie, loosening it a bit. Downing the champagne he grabbed another chocolate and moved off into the crowd to disappear for awhile. He wanted to see how good the eyes that were watching him really were.

Missy smiled at the girl. "It is a pleasure m'lady." She pointed over to her brother. "My brother, Tehre dragged me here, im kinda glad he did." She smiled again.
Tehre saw his sister point at him with another young woman. He inclined his head in acknolegement and went back to staring into the crowd.

Ezra pushed by a young man who was being distracted by someone, his hand brushed into his pocket seeing if there was a wallet stashed there. Not pausing, he continued onwards until he ran into a familiar face.
"Ah, young Crane, where is your father? i don't believe I've seen him here," The old man asked. "In fact, I don't believe i saw your name on te guestlist..."
"Well you know how it is Dr. Treviore, last minute invites and such. My father couldn't make it, he had more important business to attend to."
"Yes well, if i know anything about the Cranes it's that business is never important unless there's money at stake. You are no different. I suspect the patron who established this get together will being experiencing financial discomfort of the antique type by the time the night is through?"
Ezra smirked, his eyebrow twitching at the suspicion of Dr. Treviore. "Well I suppose you'll just have to wait and see?"

Aislynn has been watchin the crowd for a few minutes when she saw a very handsome boy leaving the food table and walking towards the crowd. She decided to go after him and stood up. When she almost stood next to him he started talking to a another man standing there, Aislynn was obsessed with the mysterious air that the guy had around him. She wasn't able to take her eyes of him.

Tehre leaned against a wall, his sword clanked it silently. "Oops, guess I forgot that." He mumbled to himself. His sister was enjoying herself, but he was bored. "Ballroom dancing, Food, stiffs...when is it going to get interesting?" He mumbled out loud.

Ezra knew he was being followed but was surprised by who it was following him. He'd expected to see the kid who's wallet he'd lifted, but apparently he was better at pickpocketing than he thought.
Well, at least that means most of the people here probably wouldn't realize their own mother had been stolen he thought and found a quiet corner not only to mill through the contents of the wallet, but also to let the girl who was following him to confront him.
