Seema looked up sharply, ready to call on her powers. Or try to, at least. She'd summoned more than once in a relatively short period of time- they might not come again so soon. "Who're you?" The girl held her dead brother protectively to her chest, as though Roy could do further harm.

"My name is Roy Lancour, just a wandering man if you will. I heard something this way and was wondering if you were being attacked by demons. I'm sorry that I couldn't get here soon enough." he would say to the girl

She stared at him a long time. Eventually, Seema rose. Her eyes didn't leave his, clearly trusting him only enough not to outright attack him. "Isaiah always hated fighting hellhounds." Seema bowed her head, tears in her eyes threatening to spill over. "I did too...dammit. He shouldn't have gone alone..." She took a step forward and swayed dangerously, a bit lightheaded, but steadied as a howl broke the silence. "...They're coming back..." Her clear blue eyes stared at the horizon passively, almost willing the beasts to tear her apart as well. It was as if she'd forgotton Roy was even there.

"Hellhounds..."He would say to himself, drawing a longsword. It's hilt was clad in a crimson red color, and depicted dancing flames on it as well. He would jump back in front of the girl, taking on a defensive stance. " Just stay put." he would tell her ready for what the hellhounds had to bring.

Seema blinked, wondering at his actions. "You're taking on the hellhounds? You....You're crazy..." Despite her words, Seema did as he asked and kept still. The howling had ceased, but she knew better than to believe the creatures had lost interest in their kill.

"Lady, taking on hellhounds, as well as demons is my life. You have nothing to worry about." he would say. His eyes would dart in nearly every diretion, trying to determine the area they would attack from.

There was a rustle to their left and a hellhound bounded towards them, dark eyes gleaming with malice. Seema took several steps back but stopped as two more came from the opposing direction.

As he caught one from the corner of his eye, he would look to the other, now being able to see both. "You would think they would come up with something a little better than this." he would say as his blade went ablaze. One hand would dangle near the crackling blaze. " O, sprites of the flame, protect those who have not wronged you." he would say. The flames would flicker on the blade before expanding out into a dome that would surround them, but streach far enough to set the two hellhounds ablaze. While the two were distracted he would leap into the air, striking the first in the head, his blade running clear through his head. The second one was sevearly burned and began to hobble away. "Oh, not yet you don't!" he would say. In near blinding speed, he would have slashed at the hellhound at the next. It would wobble slighly, letting out a howl that only came out as a gurgle, and would fall over dead. The blade seemed not to have a drop of blood on it as he sheathed the sword. "You alright?" he would as as he turned to face her, his own face now soft and gentle.

Eyes wide in awe, Seema stared at him openly. "...How did you do that?"

"I can only do that with the blades alone. The longsword, Ending Dark, grants me the power to control fire, and use the fire sprites to my will. The katana at my hip is Fenrir. It grants me super speed and the ability to evade." he would say as he dropped to one knee, offering his hand to her. "What is it you do out here in the middle of the woods?

She took his hand numbly, her eyes starting to stray towards her brother's remains again before visably shaking herself. "We- that is, I...It was the best way to stay hidden." Seema finally looked at him, trying to focus on his face instead of the hellish surroundings. "You never know who you can trust these days."

"I know what you mean. With the demons runnin rampart like they own the place, and taking forms of peope, it's hard to tell. I'm sorry that things couldn't be better, or that I could have arrived here sooner. Maybe I could have done something to help him. Is there anything I can do for you?" he would ask her.

"I...I don't know." Seema distantly wondered why she hadn't broken down sobbing. Some logical part of her was screaming that her brother was dead and gone- she was alone. But it was too fast to believe- Seema looked blankly at the man holding her hand. "Where are you headed?"

I was heading to the holy capital of Ras-Amon." he would say. "If you wanted to I can get you there, but I believe we should either bury your friend here, or at least burn his body." he would say to her.

Her stare, still devoid of emotion, turned to Isaiah's half eaten form. "Burn him. Otherwise he'll just be dug up again. And he doesn't deserve that."
