xd I think you just have about three secinds of silence after someone says something...(thats what I do!) actually, my friends just actually say the words "dot dot dot"
(doesnt Felix say "..." when they're on the ship asking Piers/Picard how old he really is?)

because SHeba thoguth they were disrespecting him by treating Felix as the oldest. Then Sheba starts pestering the hell out of Piers trying to know what his age is.
