The giant could feel the excitement and wonder growing in his belly. It has been a while since he's gotten into a situation which was as mysterious as this, though he wasn't new to facing dangerous scenarios. This athlete is part daredevil as he goes around the world looking for a challenge, a new high, and tries to face nature's most dangerous creations. He had surfed tsunamis, climbed the tallest mountains, trekked through dry artic deserts and swam through the oceans. This one could be safer, or perhaps be more dangerous, unlike all the other challenges, the mystery of this was making it more fun.
"Let's go as a group, and I'll guard the rear."

Well, it sounded like someone was excited, which was good. Better an excited Paddy than an angry one, though it was... amusing when he got mad as long as you weren't on the wrong side.
But old man? ... Ha. THeir guide was probably scared out of his wits and only doing it for the money. But she smiled nonetheless, bowing her head a bit in his direction. A few more coins flew off in his direction - the universal symbol of gratitude.
"Ah, my thanks for the information. We shall go as a group until we get there, and perhaps explore this little side entrance.
If you wish, Mr. Carlson, you may... leave after you answer one more question for me. After we... investigate this place, where shall we find you again? For I do not work for free, and neither does the Sky Clan. Is there a way to contact you when we are... through?"

The One Who Grins Well, it sounded like someone was excited, which was good. After we... investigate this place, where shall we find you again? For I do not work for free, and neither does the Sky Clan. Is there a way to contact you when we are... through?" Ned bowed his head back, grabbing the coins that were tossed his way. "Well, I was just hired to take you here, but the ones who hired me said they would send your money in the mail...it should already be on its way there, actually. Good luck!" With that, Ned make his exit, going back into the residential area.

With that, Ned make his exit, going back into the residential area. Mail... Machina Aquarius didn't trust that person. But then again there were few he did trust. That's why I'm still alive... he thought grimly. The locals were scared of it, but that meant nothing. Someone's shadow in the wrong place at the wrong time could scare a civilian. No, he was sure this guy knew something. But he was already gone. He looked up at the warehouse. Big, to be sure, but then again, so was Paddy, and Paddy had the potential to be a lot scarier than the warehouse. It was what was inside the warehouse that he didn't know. He was uncertain, not scared. There was a difference.

They had already sent it to Headquarters? Nice. It was ethically wrong... but that meant that they technically didn't have to do their job, and could just go home without ever bothing with this whole mission thing...
But what fun was that?
It was then the leader of Sky realized that the rest of her clan was waiting for her, and she let a small smirk adorn her face. Lilith turned around gracefully, her silver hair falling across her face for a moment before she tucked it back behind one ear. She began walking towards the indicated side entrances, pausing a few steps into the journey.
“Let’s get to work.”
She didn’t wait for them to catch up with her, nor did she turn around to see if they were following her. Paddy would make sure they followed her, as he was taking the rear. She trusted him to do that much. The silver-haired lady slowed a bit as she reached the corner, peering cautiously beyond it’s edge. Nothing, no sign of anything.
Well, almost anything. For there they stood, in their majestic and ordinary glory – one rather large stack of harmless-looking, brown, cardboard boxes. If there truly was an entrance here, this is the one the children would have used, as well as the entrance her clan would use to gain access to this boxing plant. No sense in having Paddy waste his strength tearing down the door.
But as she got closer, Lilith had to suppress a grimace – those boxes were absolutely filthy, and her clothes would need a good washing when they got back to the Zephyr, after they were done with this. Tentatively, she reached out and touched a box (after putting on a pair of crème colored gloves she kept on her person), pushing the top box with her finger. Or tried to. It must have been heavier than she thought.
“Help me move these out of the way. See if you can find what kind of things this place packaged,” gasped out Lilith as she hoisted the top box off the stack (which had been, sadly, taller than her). Something had clinked inside as the sky mage staggered a few feet away from the stack and set the thing down with a clunk and a crash. It WAS heavier than she had thought. What the bloody hell was in these things? Bricks? Anvils? Rocks?

((OOC: Never heard of canceling a check? Plus, you wouldn't get any more buisness from them. Oh, and as for the boxes, since there isn't any way to do this in game, there are screws, gears, little oblong things, and long tubes.))

((ooc: Arg, stupid Wordpad incompatibility with Gaia. ;_; I wonder why?
Aw... I was hoping it would be rum or something interesting... or like... dead bodies... blaugh
Yeah though... I don't think Lilith would have pulled anyways, even if they didn't cancel check or anything. Besides... if Ned had left, and nobody was overlooking them, they could just say nothing was found. blaugh But eh, this is a training session... so pulling out would only hurt the clan. sweatdrop Which, I'd never do. ninja
And to make this not a total waste of space...))
A few small objects flew out of the box (thanks to the laws of Physics and so on) and tumbled to the floor with a metalic clinking sound. One had even dared to strike her black leather boot, so Lilith crouched down to pick up the offending object. It was a small silvery object with grooves in it. What were they called? Skews... stews... Screws, that was it. She remembered the airship mechanics talking about them one day, and it had seemed rather dull sounding.
But this screw thing wasn't very heavy... but the box was. She peered into the box, and an "Oh..." escaped her lips. There must have been hundreds of those things in here, and a few other things as well. Her eyes glanced back at the stack of boxes, and she couldn't help it as another smile crossed her lips. Today was going to be interesting.

((OOC: Sorry, I was really bored when I wrote this. Trust me, it shows.)) Machina Aquarius considered this. Would they have to search every box? It was possible. He wasn't looking forward to it. It wasn't time-efficient. However, he'd try to find a way around it when he came to it. For now, he hefted one of the boxes and tossed it to the side. The boxes were blocking their way. They needed to be not blocking their way. So, boxes lacking means to move, or the mental faculties to do such, he needed to make the boxes get out of their way. He hefted another box. "How many boxes will have to die before we're done here?" he asked himself.

Decira closely followed the other members of the Sky Clan to the entrance Ned had pointed out to them. The stack of boxes was rather high, and Decira looked at them with disgust. What boring work, moving them out of the way. She watched with disdain as Lilith staggered with one of the boxes, causing some of what was inside to fall out and spread onto the ground. One of the screws that had jumped out of Lilith's box rolled it's way over to Decira and crawled to a stop in front of her shiny black boots. Stepping on it with her toe, she kicked the offending piece of trash behind her, rolling her eyes. Reaching behind her head, Decira pulled her long, blonde ponytail around and tossed it in front of her shoulder. Standing back, out of the way, she lazily began to run her delicate fingers through her smooth hair. She'd leave the hard work to the others in the Clan, such as Paddy and Machina, who wouldn't have any trouble lifting the disgusting boxes.

Paddy's white hair fluttered slightly as he shook his head in disgust as he watched the others do some actually manual labor. The giant grunted as he walked towards the boxes, weaving around his other clanmates and tilted his head at them as he passed by. As the echelon of society, he found that some of his members were to proper to do some of the most basic things in life. Though, Paddy knew that he wasn't going to change them and just did what he can to help. If no one or a few of them was going to do it, they may never finish this mission. Being an athlete perhaps separated him from the rest since he was required to do actual phyiscal work to be the best and had to get dirty in some of the sports. Feeling that his time would be wasted waiting, he began moving the boxes considered them as his workout.
"I'll remove these," Paddy said as he began lifting each box with little or no effort, "You gals and guys just keep watch for anything dangerous."

Luke stood behind the others, arms crossed in front of him. A sullen smirk came to his lips as he regarded the other clan members, various people of Gaia who all seemed to be well off as far as income goes.
"So many familiar people and attitudes," thought Luke to himself, thinking back on his earliest years spent in the royal court. His eyes quickly narrowed on the back of the nearest person to him, the girl calling herself Ari.
That hair, those gestures. Luke knew this beautiful young lady from somewhere, though he couldn't quite place a finger on it, and he wasn't going to go out of his way to get her attention since she was looking the other way. If it mattered where he knew her from, it would come up later, no worries. That's just how he was.
Still, all the anticipation was beginning to build up as Luke watched the others move boxes. The slender fingers of his left hand dropped to his hip, where waited one of his rapiers. His fingers traced the grip and cross-guard, his right fist clenching and un-clenching.
Let's just get inside and get this done.

The silver-haired woman of Sky let a small smile grace her mouth for ever so briefly as she stepped back to let Paddy remove the boxes. All these other children, well... perhaps they had become too accustomed to the high life, just as she had years before. Her childhood friend never let her forget about that, continuing to tease her about "breaking a nail" or "getting dirty" or just being "too well brought up." And she'd shake her head, knowing that breaking nails wasn't merely some feminine thing to worry about, because breaking them really did hurt.
But she often forgot who she was with, dropping her mask of disdain and coldness by complete accident to the shock and surprise of others. Small things such as boxes... well, a year or so as leader had taught her that the best way to actually get someone to do something for you was to do it yourself. Great way to meet cute guys too.
As she stood there, her eyes wandered around to each of the members, then to the area surrounding them. She didn't blame the people for being afraid of this place, for truth be told, it was far too quiet for any normal building - abandoned or not. Lilith picked up a small screw with her gloved fingers and began tossing it up and catching it again as she waited for Paddy to finish moving the boxes to (hopefully) reveal this "secret entrance".

((Ack must catch up . . .))
Ari stared ahead at her leader as she watched her go towards the entrance that was on the side of the building. With a deep sigh she followed her and the rest of the clan, only stopping for a moment when she felt a shiver go down her spine, like some one was watching her. Her honey orbs swept the area in front of her and beside her and only saw her clan member’s so ignored the shiver and went over to a box and tried to lift it. She staggered at the weight, she hadn’t realized it was so heavy and almost let it drop on her toes, but caught it before that happened.
She eventually let it drop to the ground, moving her feet quickly apart so the box wouldn't drop on her feet. Dust flew off the box that lay between her feet as she bent over, she was one of the few in the clan that didn’t mind getting dirty, but knew she would need a shower and wash her clothes when she got back to the Zephyr. Bring a manicured nail down the top of the box where it was taped she opened the box and glanced inside and was shocked to see screw's. Hearing Paddy call out for the rest of the clan to let him do all the manual labor, she sighed gratefully she knew she couldn't keep lifting the boxes, they where way to heavy for her.
Brushing the rest of the dust off the box she sat down on the top of it, the box was fairly lumpy , but it made due as a seat for now. Crossing one leg over the other, she crossed her arms and sat silently, her eyes first scanned over the group then followed Paddy as he started to move the boxes and then turned up towards the sky as she leaned back on the box, resting her weight on her hands which she had moved to rest of the back ends of the box that she wasn't sitting on.
