Spartan05089234 Rockstar Fiction So the snow is melting fast but I built a jump and it really isn't all that great. I'll get pictures up later but any tips on building a jump? I should really get one of those platforms the pros use for rails. Does anyone know where I can get a guide to making one? you don't need a guide. Just make it out of snow, maybe with some water to turn it into ice. That's what we do in BC. If you don't have enough snow for that, then go inside and play SSX: On Tour. Its not the same, but you'll feel better. oh man, i love that game. SSX: blur is coming out soon and amped three was disapointing

Nawsome right... dont mind dumb and stupid over there... in order to build a good jump you need a base, i usually use a piece of wood and a rock... anyways make sure its atleast 4 feet long and 3 feet wide, and that it does rock back and forth, then you start pileing some snow under it, around it, and ontop of it. make sure that you have it angled at what type of jump you want, distance or air. then make sure you have a downhill landing or else your friends will hate you. alrighty then. yea liek nawsome said, get a hunk of wood. i usually have issues with chunks of the ramp collapsing wheni hit it, the easiest way to maintain and make your ramp bigger, is to build up your ramp a little shorter than you want, try packing it down, whatever, put a sheet of wood on it, and cover it with a few inches of snow. this wya its more stable and wont collapse when you hit it.

u really dont need anyhting to mkae one lol i did alot of biking in my years and learned to make wicked jumps on the spot out of anything lol .... all you need to do is pack it on the front and back at the same time you need 2 pplf or it.... give it some lip so u can get air and keep it groomed an you'll be fine. also for rails you can always run into the bush and find some awsome trees to make rails out of.. it's real easy but takes some time to make a good tree rail but it turns out awsome in the end.

I have a big problem with stuff sticking out of the jump when I hit it then catch edge and break my arm... it sucks what I would recomend is that you just pack snow and form a jump shape uste your board for a mold if you have to just make sure it dosen't go too steep before you get off the jump I've been there before it makes you do a flip and the landing sucks if you went down then built it up some more I hate landing on ice and brusing my tail bone it sucks well just go out and build one hit it a couple times and build it up again hit it untill you have the perfect jump thats how it works for me
