He looked at her and chuckled, "No only this male can boss girls around!" He stuck his tongue out and laughed a little.
He laughed as she poked him again, "Right thats it missy!" He turned to face her completely and pounced. She started it, he was going to finish it!

"Oh really?" she smirked and flicked her tail. He was trying to be oh so big and strong hmm? Well, she knew she wasn't the strongest and biggest lioness out there, but she did have her speed. As he pounced she narrowly escaped by jumping backwards, she giggled and peered at him. "Trying to pounce upon a female? I thought you weren't like that..." she said with a laugh.

Her words hit him quite hard though he let them pass, after all they were playing. "Ah but this is a game and there wouldn't be a chance in you liking me in the way that I would pounce you in the way that you speak of." He chuckled, getting ready to try and pounce her again.

Kat smiled and crouched down, tail flicking behind her, ears perked up and listening to him. She watched carefully, for when he might try to pounce again, her not liking him in teh way she thought he would pounce? He was nice, did he think she didn't think he was nice and hansome? "Are you thinking that I think of you somehow in a way you don't know, I wonder if you think of me in a way I don't know..."

He had just let himself pounce when he somewhat twisted as he heard her words. "Damn girl!" He laughed and looked at her. "You saying you think I might not be honest with you or that I fancy you? Ya see, we only just met so unless you going to confess deep feelings for me, we can leave that for another day!" He chuckled and stretched his paw out playfully trying to bat at her.
He then rolled over onto his stomach and looked up at her, "Wanna play?"

Kat smiled at him. Yes, perhaps stuff like that would be better thought out on another day. Her mind was boggling with questions she was asking herself. She bat back at him with her paws playfully and nodded at his question, "Sure, what do you wanna do hmm?"

"What do I want to do?" hmmm... what did he want to do? He rolled onto his back and continued to bat at her before rolling over, jumping up and attempting to pounce her for the third time. He wasn't sure what he was doing so he let his body lead him and not his mind for once, though his mind was there to stop his body doing the things that weren't right.
He was happy to have someone to play with, he hadn't played since they were in the misty lands, where he played with that little black cub whose name he could no longer remember. They had climbed trees together and he had shown her how easy it was. That was then, this was now and it was better then it was then because this female was prettier and wasn't going to go join the hate side and hate his family.

Kat's eyes widened and she tried to get away, but he had succeeded in landing on her right hide foot and tail. She wriggled and laughed and tried to pull away. "Third time is the charm eh?" This was fun. Just playing, relaxing. Though in the back of her mind she knew that someday she would be alone again, and would yearn to play like this again.
"What do you think will happen to those like us later on? she asked, rolling onto her back, looking uo at the sky, "Do you think we'll wander the lands out here for a while longer? Be destined to stay out here?"

He laughed as he managed to grab something and pull her down. He let go and crawed to lay next to her on his side. He then thought about the questions she asked.
"I don't know, I think some are just destined to wander for the rest of their lives, mother, for one, has been mistreated everytime she just attempted to settle so she won't ever settle in fear of being hurt again. I don't want to be alone and wandering forever, I would like to settle, I think you would to. I think you will, you will find somewhere, settle, find a mate and have children." He smiled. He believed she would, he wasn't lieing though he thought it best to keep his ideas in his head, he didn't believe that he would ever settle. Sad but true.

Destined to wander? Perhaps it was fate then? She sighed and looked to the sky, soon it would be painted with colors from teh sunset. She didn't want nightfall to come, then she would become alone and cold again.
"Strange you think others will be happy, do well, and you don't think it of yourself, you have to believe in your own words for yourself. You have to..." she said quietly. Perhaps, perhaps her not believing was what actually kept her family from her. Or perhaps them always being beyond her reach was fate and destiny.

He shook his head and laughed, "Maybe so, come on lets find somewhere to stay for the night, or I could take you somewhere if you wanted? I won't leave you if you don't want me to, it would be nice to have some company." He smiled at her. She was lonley, so was he.

Kat rolled over onto her stomach, then stood up and stretched. Purred in her mind as she rolled her shoulders. That felt good. Her shoulders had been sore the past few days. "Perhaps some underbrush I don't..." she was stuttering again, showing her nervousness, "I don't want to b-be out in the open at night..." she said softly. Perhaps he would stay a little while. It would make her feel a bit more comfortable to not be alone this night.

Dhar smiled, "Hey its ok, I wont leave you to be on your own. Lets go find somewhere to rest for the night. You will be ok I promise!" He smiled and looked around a little.
"Over there, it looks really sheltered we can rest there, if you want to that is?" He smiled and stretched a little before shaking his head and mane.

"S-sure..." Kat said softly and began padding to where he had proposed. It was rather thick brush, and they could nestle inside of it. She crawled into it and curled up, and laid her head on her forepaws. The bracnhes created a little net around her. But to her right was another opening nest spot like the one she had chosen. A hole in between the two. Least if Dhar was there, she could see him and know she wasn't alone.

Dhar found a spot and curled up, he smiled at her and whispered to her quietly, "Sleep well, I will watch over you." He nodded his head before laying it down on his paws. He kept his eyes open and would untill he was sure that she was sleeping.
