be warned, man. the plot of the manga and the plot of the anime is completely different.

Yeah, I've heard some synopsis of the plot from my brother, so I can tell, that much, but it still sounds pretty awesome.

and one other thing. the novel is different from the manga, and the anime. the manga is different from the anime and the novel, and the anime is different from the novel and the manga.

basically, what i am saying is that all three forms of the series are different in its interpretation. of course, the novel is the "correct" interpretation.

Well, animators do what they can to make an entertaining conversion. That's just what tends to happen.

Bandai's not bad with dubbing a good amount of the time. I like the Roots/G.U. dub at the least.,

Isn't Bandai the company that piucked up Haruhi?

Bandai merely did the distributing and producing the DVDs themselves. Kodokawa Pictures did all the necessary things when it comes to all the others like dubbing, subbing, and all that.

It's kinda old news but..
Damn, I hate when animes get licensed, even if they are uncut, luckily the fansub groups have all of the episodes done.

Actually, considering that Crispin Freeman is doing Kyon, it's highly likely that the same dubbing team is on the job as was on .Hack. He's Balmung apparently... and Sakaki.
