Fisher saw Enkei get whipped up into the air in the grasp of .....a tree?
he quickly lept off the log for fear it might do the same thing and worked his way up to the evil plant, ...how were they going to get him down now.
He noticed a shape moving through the water which had called out to them, he would know about these things, he obviously knew about the area.
'Do you know any solutions to our friends problem here?'
he pointed up to Enkei who flailed and kicked in midair while bieng held fast by branches.

Yep. Looks like the headaches are back. And currently dancing around to the can-can. Loooooovely...
He stepped away from the pair of men and paused in front of the webbed shinigami. "Hello," he bowed.

::He glared down at Efrain with steaming eyes, how could he laugh when his life was slowly being sucked away from him by this horrible excuse of a tree?::
I *cough* I'm suffocating...
::He clutched at his chest, which was slowly compressing beneath the strength of the branches. Closing his eyes, he clenched his jaw, and focused all his attention to his core. With a scream of fury and anger, his left arm regained its form and gripped at the branches at his waist in unison with his other arm. He used all his might and strength, only managing to make a little room with the branches, yet enough to suck in some more air.::
WHEN I GET DOWN THERE EFRAIN YOU'RE A DEAD MAN!
::Apparently he wasn't worth the trouble or effort to be saved by his comrades, which personally was hurtful if not incentive to grow stronger. With a flame growing beneath teh cyan eyes, his biceps bulged as he continued to make lee-way with his vice.::

He could barely make out what they were saying but evidently they were distressed about their friend held by the tree spirit. Everything thing is alive within Meifu, he'd learnt that....the tree did not take too kindly to being hit.
Tarelle did not want to come closer tho. The murkiness of the swamp was as toxic to him as seaweed latching onto his tail. So he mimed the tree with lots of heart shapes with his webbed hands, then pointed to the beach. He hoped they understood. With a kick, he leapt over the waters and dashed back down, swimming towards the sand.
Her spirit pulsed. So tired.....

Yue sighed inside and bowed again, "Please excuse me..."
Making his way towards the offended tree, Yue placed a gentle hand on the rough bark. "Kindly lower him. I apologize in his place for offending you."
With both hands on his thighs, he bowed, "Please accept this apology on his behalf."
Yue mentally noted to get some tea when he returned home. His head was pounding like a drum.

Efrain was laughing so hard at this point, he started wheezing, covered in sludge as he was, but wheezing nonetheless. He couldn't stop the laughing, but he wheezed himself up and shuffled over to three clutching his arms and a heeping armful of sludge to his sides trying to contain the laughter. Efrain wasn't even so sure why it was so funny at this point, except he already was a dead man! He was a shinigami!! Between the tears, sludge and laughter, made his way to the tree and tried his best to wheeze out a 'please let go of my friend' like Yue did, but ended up giving the tree the peace sign, "Peace...!" before letting go of a great big sigh.

Screaming trees are strangely silent, but angered by the flames, its branches whipped out and knocked the fire giver aside, while all the more clenching onto the one in its grasps.

A splash of water caught his attention as he straightened from his bow.
The end of the shinigami's tail flashed before diving into the water. Calling over his shoulder, Yue said, "Get Enkei down. I'll follow to see where that guy went!"
Using his long legs to his advantage, Yue leapt from the available surfaces to follow. His cloak waved behind him as he twisted and turned away from reaching branchs and other obstacles.

::Fire and forgivness didn't really go hand in hand. As the heat reached his feet, it suddenly dissipated, and Enkei's eyes went wide. The tree was just asking for an apology first. Now it meant business. Its strangle-hold was immensly strong. The arm that had previously appeared faded away once again. The legs began to flail less and less, until they hung limp. Enkei's face was turning blue as his oxygen was leaving his body. He needed air.::

Coughing to a finish, Efrain didn't like the blue look on Enkei's face. Efrain sobered up rather quickly and removed his coat. "Hang on!" Efrain tried frantically to scoop up some of the watery stuff to try and douse the flames, since it was kinda obvious the tree was alive. Flailing wildly, he even tried to pat the tree down. He even paused for a brief moment, "Oh snap," and with wide eyes, Efrain redoubled his efforts.

At the beach, Yue stopped abruptly. He remembered that suddenly approaching the spirit frightened her immensely. Racking his mind on what to do, Yue pondered.
Perhaps...?

He hoped the spirit could hear his song and calm down.
