MysticfawN ... 8 boxes, although it takes 4+ hours for them all! sweatdrop astounding, isn't it? .... btw, I don't know if it's a glitch or an intentional attempt to minimize duplication of box items, but I got the message "unable to determine which gift" (or something like that) for Blaiix when I did 10 more shops after finishing up the first complete set of boxed items...

Eeeek! That's not good. confused Seems like a waste all the time for those last 10 carols you did then huh? Something I'm not liking is that if you accidentally try to give to someone you've already gifted before, you have to wait ANOTHER 4 minutes to give to someone else. rolleyes But at least if you accidentally click to give a gift and you haven't picked one up yet, it lets you collect one and then try giving it again right away. I'm on box 5 of the 8, and I just want to get a full set today because I'm not sure I'll have much time tomorrow between packing and getting everything set to go! Then I'm gone for the rest of the month and half of next!

I just got this error instead of a zurg item from the event forum gift-giving: Unable to Complete Request Can't grant event item: Could not retrieve initialize account info.Could not insert entries into databaseUnable to mark entries resolved Looks like I have 2 of each santa/zurg item so far, and 3 santa hats, but I don't think there's a limit on how many we can get, and I assume that was just a silly glitch.

MysticfawN Something I'm not liking is that if you accidentally try to give to someone you've already gifted before, you have to wait ANOTHER 4 minutes to give to someone else. rolleyes But at least if you accidentally click to give a gift and you haven't picked one up yet, it lets you collect one and then try giving it again right away. Eeee, scratch that! I went upstairs to pack, came back down after 4 minutes and tried to give a gift, it said I hadn't picked up a gift yet, so I did, and I couldn't regive it this time and it told me to wait 240 seconds. rolleyes

With this last error, it will no longer let me visit any shop anywhere, and gives me the same error no matter where I go, so I can't even try again for 10 more carols. Plus, I've frustratingly noticed that it seems to take way more than 2 gift-givings before you get an item, although I haven't counted how many. I think I'm done with this event. stare

Is anyone else having issues at the Flower Shop? It wont load for me at all, so I have to save that one for last. Then I cant go to another shop from there, I have to click shops at the top or at the bottom of the page stare

Then I cant go to another shop from there, I have to click shops at the top or at the bottom of the page stare I know in the flower shop it nevers loads the sidebar squares of all the other shops, so after I go there I click back and THEN to logan's fishing store after that. But when I was looking for bug threads about the error I got and not being to go to any shop anymore, one thread also mentioned the flower shop not loading, so I know it's not just you!

the flower shop's been like that for days, i go back to Rufus from there so i can see all the links again, he's doesn't seem to mind.
i'm having trouble with the forum items tonight too, but we've got plenty of time to get a nice supply under our belts 3nodding

There are a lot of database issues with this event, it seems...
The flower shop is one I'm just skipping completely at this point because of the errors. Fortunately, the Faktorie and Prize & Joy are accepting carollers, so it's not a big deal... but fawN, you're not alone with your frustrations with this event... sad

jellysundae i'm having trouble with the forum items tonight too, but we've got plenty of time to get a nice supply under our belts 3nodding Hehe, maybe you all do! You have all next week! blaugh At least I got a satisfactory amount today and yesterday though. 3nodding Oh, and when I checked my inventory, box 8 of 8 was there, so I'm through! No second sets for me though!

i really do like this year's items, last year the boots, earmuffs and mittens were the only things out of the set of 8 that i liked that much, so it's great to see some better stuff this time around 3nodding
