They could have just intermingled with the others after link left. After all he made a good impression on them. They might just be a part of something else or be pirates or somthing.

That is another possibility. I apologize for the possible randomnise of this, but I like the Gerudo's, particularly Nabooru, that I'm changing my look so I can look like her. Though there is a major issue with cash... sweatdrop um...If anyone would like to help out, it would be greatly appretiated! i'll repeat that, GREATLY appreciated! The total amount for the last remaining things I think I need would be 1800 gold. sad I know, a hard target to get. My funds are currently trying to be saved up so I can afford these things. i just don't know what kind of shoes! I just need the pants and the gloves. If anyone has any suggestions of where to get white gauntlet type things/gloves on this site that go to your elbows, or cheaper white pants that kind of are like the Fresh Taj Pants (They have to be white though!) that would also be helpful! Thanks! wink

The area you are confined to in Wind Waker isn't the entire world (there are other lands like Labrynna, Holodrum and undoubtably even more) so they could be there setting up their own nation in a more Hyrule-like land (Ganon says all that crap about how his people liked the wind blowing over from Hyrule). They could have just bred with Hylians since that appears to be how they reproduce normally in Ocarina of Time. In a A Link to the Past which appears to be some time after Wind Waker there are theives in the Lost Woods which appear to resemble the Gerudos (plus they're nasty theives just like the Gerudos). There is no definite answer as to where they went. Twilight Princess may reveal something about them or I think we should just assume that are somewhere else in the world

I see the other areas as other worlds. As for the theives, it's great that you brought them up, but htey seem ot me as the shame ol' race as everyone else. Another interesting not is the gorons there were fast and savage and turned to stone statues when hit, so the Zelda world is a bit... chaotic.
