[.Tainted.Innocence.] Dark_Angel05 Maybe instead of the theory that Brom, not Morzan, is Eragon's father... maybe Brom is Morzan? and was tricked into service for Galbatorix but found a way around his oath? Not sure... Sorry, but part of your theory won't work. It's possible Brom had to be in service to galbatorix, but find a way around it.However, I thik he would have told Eragon in case they were captured. And no offense, but I can almost automatically shoot down the theory of Brom being Morzan. Remember what Oromis said. He trained them both, and said that Brom idolized Morzan, persuing him around everywhere, and it nearly killed him when Morzan turned. he didn't train Morzan, he said that Morzan killed everyone who trained him and he was fourtunate not to have been one of them. I'm inclined to think that morzan is Eragon's father, why would Chris have this big starteling revelation and then go back on it, it just doesn't make sense, but murtagh and eragon being brothers does make sense, both riders and equally skilled, although Eragon is faster now because of the whole elfish thing but still, he wouldn't just turn around in the 3rd book and go, well actually i changed my mind, brom is your father, I can't see it happening at all

i like the idea, but it would just be plain old WRONG. like some of you already said, it would kinda be like Star Wars. but... there is a possibility that he may some other relative. i mean, he could have been Selena's father~that would actually make some sense, right. i kind of think of him as a grandfather-like figure..... just a possiblilty.....

It's a possibility but I highly doubt it. I liked Brom, he was a very awesome character. The fact that he died was an upset. I don't like that Morzan is supposed to be Eragon's father but ....

I think that you could be right about that. But we will just have to read it and find out what happens.

ehhh i think it would make it boring. I like "imagining" it but if it were true it would just be boring. I like the fact that the force that eragon is trying to fight runs through his blood.
