Minty awoke and saw Vincent. "WHAT THE!?" She kicked him in the chin and once again fell to the ground. "Damn what does everyone want with me gonk " She dashed off to a different part of the park.

She growled at the pure blooded vampire infront of her. She wanted so badly to go, but she wanted so badly to go against hellsing. It was drving her mad. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO DAMMIT! I WANT TO BE SO FREE BUT I WANT TO KILL AT THE SAME TIME! AND MY HUNGER ISN'T HELPING BECAUSE I KEEP ON PAYING ATTENTION TO IT! I'VE BITTEN MY WRIST PLENTY OF TIMES!" Her voice lowered her old self slightly showing. "Of course I'm not drinking my own blood because I would most likely suck myself dry." She sat down analyzing her wrist, which had a huge gash still in the process of healing.

She scoffed. "Then they call you a Diva, big slip, termination." She hummed lightly taking out some bandages. She decided to ignore Vincent. Slightly.

Minty brought her eyes up to him. "Incase we haven't noticed sir." She said. "I happen to be a girl in need of something I do not have." She tugged at the bandages making them tighter.

Minty started to laugh. "yea right! What kind of thirst can be lessened? None! I refuse to drink blood or take blood tablets because that will only raise my hunger for blood!" She said between laughs.

Jeresous had been watching for some time now, silently, unseen and unobtrusive as he had for years upon years over the Earth. Listening serenely, he had not yet formed an opinion about this Vincent, but neither did the halfblood vampire hold any specific distinction in the angel's mind. He had no plan of action to either get rid of the vampire or let him persuade Minty. It didn't matter to the angel when and where he was able to speak with her. And so, Jeresous only waited, not about to interrupt and exacerbate the situation by making Minty feel pressured and crowded when all she had wanted was time to be alone.

He waited on the crown of the trees, the sleeping Dark still with him, held resting up against him with his arm around her, his wings sheltering her. She wouldn't awaken until Jeresous let her go, but she was perhaps in the safest place ever imaginable.

"read this and you will see just how alike we realy are." he tossed her his journal and walked off. and then threw her an apartment key it was to his. "if you need a place to stay my door is open and if you want me to be your mentor the offer still stands." he turned into a bat and flew back to his palce.

"You have many people who want to help you, Minty. They are worried. And some ..."
Jeresous alighted on the ground level with a sweep of his wings, upsetting pine needles and dead leaves, clearing a small patch to rest on his bare feet. He carefully laid out Dark on the bed of moist Earth, and stood back up, taking his neutral, calm stance, at ease.
"Some know that you have great potential. But you hear too much of that. I think it is about time we find out what you really wish for, Minty. Would you please answer a few of my questions with honesty?"
