tamashii no taki-bi I agree with Draco. Even if the popularity spawns the vicious amount of crap that we have seen in sasunaru, I am almost positive some really good stuff will be in there somewhere. I agree. It's not the 'popularity' so much that bothers me, it's the annoying fans and pointless fanfiction and whatnot that's going to come with it. Not saying that nothing good will come from it, but sometimes the bad seems to outweigh the good...

I'm not a big yaoi fan.
Even so, there should only be pairings with probable pairings. KandaxAllen is impossible 'cause they hate each other.

As I figure it, someone will see all the crap, and then decide to clean it up a little by makeing something really good!

DracoSkully Out of curiosity if I may ask, what's so bad about it gaining the popularity as SasuNaru? confused
I mean I myself am a SasuNaru fan and if AlllenKanda becomes as popular that just means more great AllenKanda fanart and fanfiction for me.

As of right now, I'm not a big KandaxAllen fan. Maybe that will change after I read more of the manga, although I highly doubt it. There are very few yaoi pairings that I like. Although, if you create a good enough AU, anything is possible...but then you tend to lose the plot of the series...and the design of the characters...heh.

i like the pairing, when i read the first book, i said to myself they would look hot together. haha. although i do want it to rise in popularity, not be as much as narusasu, because thats just to much crud and bashing to deal with

Touzoku_Bakura i like the pairing, when i read the first book, i said to myself they would look hot together. haha. although i do want it to rise in popularity, not be as much as narusasu, because thats just to much crud and bashing to deal with Yeah, I kind of used to feel the same way. But I've actually been able to find a decent amount of good fics and fanart and things like that within the fandom. I think KandaAllen or AllenKanda's probably one of the more popular DGM pairings, so if the series itself becomes really popular there's always the chance that it will attract a lot of immature/annoying fans, but right now I don't really see that happening anytime soon. (: I guess we just enjoy the better stuff while it lasts? XD;
