October 8, 2006 at around 2 or 3 AM:
I was randomly wandering around on the most populated area of Towns. A lot of people were being really stupid and noob-ish. So I was about to leave to find something more entertaining to do. Then I notice someone say something to the effect of "What an intelectually sufficating area.. Has this generation really sunk to this level?" So, I wander of to the person who said this and say "Yes, I'm afraid it's true.." Then we strike up a conversation and go away from the noobs to his house in Towns. We talk until about 5 then exchange e-mail addresses and start talking on MSN for another half hour. Our friendship grew from there and continues to grow even now. ^_^ I still find it hard to believe I've only known him for a little over two months now..

Okay, here's the deal on my name. Long ago, my idea on constructing names was unevolved and primitive. What I did (many of you will recognize this **cough cough**) was simply chose a word of Japanese that suited the character and call it a name...Be aware I have a much better method these days and actually pay attention to etemalogical roots, though I generally use more western stories so Japanese names aren't something I use that often as they don't fit the stories I tell or the characters in them.
Anyway, Matasoga isn't really a Japanese word. Its a shortened, bastardized, chopped up and abbreviated phrase. "Ma no tasogare" which translates roughly to something along the lines of evil/occult/magic twilight. I don't speak Japanese, myself, so if you don't like the translations, I don't need to hear about it. I feel fairly confident in my sources though, so unless you have more than at least 3 years of Japanese training under your belt, its likely you that's wrong.
Anyway, thats pretty much the whole story, so sorry, but none of you are quite right.
