Sakura should win. My reasons are because some people are born great, and some have greatness thrust upon them. Sakura is one of those people. When she was younger, kids teased her, but later in the series, she grow into a strong woman.

I think Ino should have won, because at that time, she had better jutsus than Sakura.

I think Sakura should have won. And Main Characters dont ALWAYS have to win.. It'll get boring. WHo wants to see Naruto win EVERYTHING?!
Ino was a better friend, though. She had sense... She didnt tell Sakura she liked Sasuke. When Sakura found out, she was the one who broke the friendship. Sakura's such a meanie sometimes, lol.

Sakura had more growth than Ino, and with her second mind and physical development. But, of course they wont let a not so old character that'll win.. Which is really mean. XD

Honestly? I think the fight ended perfectly.

Sakura equalled Ino, a goal from childhood. Without her inferiority complex in the way, she could allow herself to be friends with Ino again. At the same time, it keeps her open for her future development. If Ino had won, we'd likely have been treated to a downward spiral.

I like Ino, really, but the girl has more than her share of pride. Even having realized and accepted the true motive for Sakura's mutiny, I don't think she would have let herself reach back out had she lost. It would have made the whole thing more bitter, especially since Sakura's goal would still have been met and Sakura would probably be willing to renew their friendship, if too afraid to suggest it (Ino isn't some to patronize, or seem to).

No one beat anyone, so they can start over again on level terms. Not Ino the protector and Sakura the protected; not Ino the bitter conquered and Sakura the empty-hearted conquerer. Sakura and Ino, equals

I'm personally happy with the tie for several reasons. First, Sakura might have had more of an emotional growth, but Ino grew physically stronger. For Sakura to have won, she would have had to pull off something really amazing.

Also, if one of them had won, it might have changed the sort of relationship they share. At the moment, it's not as intense as Naruto and Sasuke's rivalry, but had a victor emerged, things might have been stepped up a notch on the hate scale. I think that Kishimoto wants their rivalry to be a little more subtle (for lack of a better word). They don't want to kill each other, they just want to rise above the bar they have set for each other/themselves.

Another thing, this match showed that Sakura really had grown stronger. Remember when she and Ino were still little and remained friends? Ino was always above Sakura. Now, Sakura has risen up to meet Ino at her level, proving that she really has grown. If Sakura had beaten Ino, she would have had to work her butt off training every day. There was no way she could have gotten so much better in such a short period of time.

Well, these are just my opinions, but...I dunno. Please explain if you think my thoguht processes are off somehow... n.n"

I would definitely want Sakura to win! Too bad th last Sakura/Ino battle ended as a tie!
P.S. But I still think the battle's ending was perfect because if one of them win, there would be no fun into it later in the series!

i think Sakura should have won because she grew up a lot and she finally stands up for herself.everyone thinks Sakura is a weak ninja.but she really is a strong coragious person.in that battle everyone finds out that she changed over the years and Ino especially was n for a surprise. smile

Tie, It should have stayed the same as it was. IT just shows they are strong but still need to keep trying.

I think it should've been Sakura because she has grew up and is very much determined to prove to people that she is someone new--not the same girl who used to a crybaby.

(Should this really be put in a Sakura guild? I mean, the majority of Sakura fans compared to Ino fans here is pretty obvious.)

But really, I was just fine with the tie. I believe that Ino was a better strategist than Sakura at the time however.
