ninja Intro to Rabbit Breeding
What's this? Easter Alley has decided to make its rabbit-breeding program public! The carefully bred rabbits we sell in the shop are just the tip of the iceberg! Mixing and matching parents can create some interesting colors and patterns. Why don't you come by and take a look?
(Sorry, only Easter Alley rabbits can breed. There are currently no plans for breeding the other animals.)

Information and rules
The rabbits you see on the front page of Easter Alley are 1st gen rabbits, starters with no lineage. Well, realistically they DO have to come from parents, but for our purposes, that doesn't matter. Every Black Natural Rabbit looks like every other Black Natural Rabbit.
If you breed two different color rabbits together, you get a mixed breed! Its colors can be any combination of its parents' colors. Every bred rabbit has unique coloring and comes on much more detailed lineart.

Rules:
1. All breedings are male-female. Easter Alley is not a crazy sci-fi laboratory that can create an embryo from two eggs or two sperms. If you roleplay with your rabbits, you can give them any sexual preferences you want, but the only way to get babies is with a male and female. 2. Only certed rabbits may breed. Why? Because getting your rabbit certed is how you determine its gender! Otherwise it is just a plain picture of a bunny, with no name or individuality. --2a. If you want two or more 1st gen rabbits of the same color, you'll have to go buy that color again, then have that one certed. You can't split one rabbit into two just by giving it another name! 3. All rabbits, male and female, have to wait at least a week after breeding before breeding again. Rabbits must be at least a month old before they start breeding (1st gens are already old enough when you buy them). 4. Rabbits are physically capable of reproducing faster than we can breed them. Even if your bunnies are ready to breed, we might not be ready to color! You have to wait for slots to open. 5. You can distribute your babies however you wish. You can keep them all, give them away, sell them, whatever. You decide owners when you get them certed. 6. All bred rabbits must be certed. You can request an uncerted image as well. 7. Any rabbits related closer than second cousins cannot be bred. The babies could have health problems, and we'd like to avoid that.
Breeding together two 1st gens of the same color will produce a rabbit with that same color, on the 2nd gen lineart. Litters can be anywhere from two to eight bunnies, determined at random.
Breeding costs 2k per baby. That means if only two babies are born, you pay 4k. If 8 babies are born, you pay 16k. Remember, litter sizes are random! We're not trying to scam you, but we'd like compensation on those huge litters. Lineart edits can be passed down from parent to child.

19Waiting List Slots: MegaRose 1.Closed 2.Closed 3.Closed Breeding form: Easter Alley breeding! Mother: (insert cert URL here) x Father: (insert cert URL here)
Send the babies to: (The name of whoever's keeping track of the breeding. Not necessarily if both parents are owned by the same person.)
When a slot is open, PM this form to the colorist (only MegaRose right now). Do NOT send this form if no slots are open! That's annoying.
