The United States is over 3,000 miles long, so it's a lot of ground to cover in order to see everything.
That's why I want to take a road trip one day with all my friends!

I don't know how long we are but in a day or less you can go from top to bottom... The Algarve is the most well known region but due to the overload of turists I don't really think it is special... If you want the warmth of the beaches in Algarve you have bigger beaches with more privacy in Alentejo wich is above Algarve, though it is the poorest part of the country... as in mostly small towns or houses in the middle of nowhere with big fields of ?wheat? and lonely trees in the middle of them... up to the center north we have our biggest mountain called "serra da estrela" but it's no big deal since there's only a tiny bit of snow in it during winter... up to the north there's the big city Oporto wich for you guys would be a small city xD but I don't know it very well since I live near Lisbon... but the north is in a way more beautiful since it's more "green" due to the vines and the fact that it rains more over there... now, for me, the most beautiful city is Lisbon... we have all these old buildings and I just love to wander around through these quite streets and hidden things, Lisbon always amazes me... I live in another town a small town though it is connected to others so you can't really see where one finishes and the other begins... but the good thing is most of my life is in Lisbon so I go there almost everyday... well I'm not that good in describing but if you want to know something else you better ask since I think I wrote way too much >< By the way.... wich contest? oO I'll go see, I'll go see... edit: I meant quiet streets...
