I just hope they make a DBZB4, with all the things people liked before but more! added on to it. The game was nearly perfect except that every character had the same dragon rush or same movements in fighting style.

Thats why I say they need to single out 10 or 15 characters and just make a fighting game period. This game should also be online, so you can make real custom characters or characters you developed in the game to kick some wordly a**. That my dbz friends would ubberly pwn some mack daddy poon tang!!! domokun

Actually they did do that,check out Super Dragonball Z. They only had about that many characters and it's more like a traditional fighting game like Street Fighter but with some Budokai like elements added in like flying,and sidestepping.

sidestepping has been around since virtua fighter, and is in superdbz for the fact that it is a 3d fighting game key movement.

Ofcourse sarriss,but i mentioned it coming from Budokai as a reference to it's similiarities to previous dbz games,not fighting games in general. And since SF doesnt include sidestepping and such since it's a 2D game,aside from that one 3D version they made which took alot of flak although I'd like to try it once to see what it's like.

they way the games have been going I can't see a whole lot of change happening for the graphics considering most are just super stylized cell shading. Except for less clipping (we can all hope) the character models will be virtually unchanged.

The stages and its interactive components may be done better and the energy attacks may have more color lines and depth, especially the aura. It would be nice to see nicer effects with form changes too, like how a super saiyan transformation would show some actual aura charge and body change not just a sudden change in character models. This would be really cool to see if you jump a transformation, like goku norm transforming to ssj3 would grow out the hair(seen below, of course it would look cooler in 3d).

    `+.::.Procrastinate now.
    Don't put it off.::.+`

---» .::. Yeah, Thats a good idea, but I do think they could make the overal character models alot better. They look great now, but, I do believe they can do better. Thats not the best cel shading, and the layering job can be better. .::. «---

I get exactly what you mean sarriss,that would be alot cooler instead of doing what they have been for the past five games or so where theres a flash and they change, imagine seeing goku just going SS like he did right before he fought Android 19 where his muscles bulged,even the clothes to accomodate the slight size shift,and just overall more theatric's would be great. They should really make the transformations like a short "cut scene" where let's keep your SS3 example, and you press the right buttons to transform and it closes in on goku showing a shoirt *5-8 seconds which is really alot of time if you count it properly* cut scene of him doing the transformation, the aura changes size,slight color shift,then it closes in on his arm where it bulges suddenly becoming more veiny and bigger in size,then close in on his eyes to show the hair dissapearing and the brow growing slightly larger and then a above 3/4 veiw from behind his head to show the hair growth as the hair pulses from the regular SS2 shade to brightly golden then it pans out as he finishes up with a big aura out burst then you continue. Now ofcourse that sounds like alot but if you remember how these things worked fro mthe episodes they were short but looked great and something like that would be a very nice touch and to accomodate for those who want to keep quick transformations you could either skip the animation by pressing start during then it clips back to the normal fighting screen and shows the flash of him finishing normal and you carry on,or it could be an option change where you go to settings and turn the transformation animation's off. And again and I will never stop stressing this because imagining it is so awesome, they NEED to make the character models in the next game like T1's opening video because the amount of layering for skin tones and shading was phenominal and just looked great and they even managed to keep the black outlining in areas where it was needed without making it stand out or look out of place,unlike T2's opening which I did like but was nowhere near as good as T1's.

first off I'm glad you got what I was saying it was hard to describe. Secondly one thing I left out is that there would be an option to turn off these 8-10 sec transformation to the flash ones, just to appease all the ppl who would complain anyway. Fusion should be the same system, if you every say the ssj4 gojeta fusion where his foot then arm and then head comes out of the light. If you haven't seen it go to here but obviously you don't need and wouldn't include the ppl chearing and shenron running in to the light, but the dame camera angles for the fusion. all I really want to see is just as much theatrics in the transformations/fusions as in moves which dbz:bt2 did well like dbz:b3.

I know that, but I don't believe there should be any "cut scene for that maybe the opposite can freeze for a few seconds and look stunned. But, I think there should be a second or two given to stop it in real time. It just adds to the over all experience of the battle. But thats just me. I knew what you meant sarriss, but I still believe they could work on the character models.
