Darkqueen13_7 I have a suggestion. How about a forum just for chatting? It would keep the front page neat ^^
Sorry, I'm kind of an organizer at heart, I like to keep stuff filed whee Thanks for the idea. I think its a good one! I'll see what I can do..lol...

I suggest going to other guilds, and forums. If you advertise there, you may find some dedicated members. This is even more effective if you advertise an event that occurs solely in this guild.

I love that "A just because..." xd I think this weekend may be a little too soon. Getting people organized so they can even show up for a few seconds would be rushed. Maybe letting people know a week or two in advance that you're planning it. What's going to happen in the event?

My brother's guild is having a party there too..lol.. So we can wait a few weeks and figure out something. The next few holidays are Cinco de Mayo, Mothers Day, Memorial Day.... We could have a party for any of those. Cinco De Mayo or Memorial Day would be the easiest because they're right before or after the weekend. As far as I'm concerned we can have a party for all three..lol.. ... heart

Pardon if this is offensive but what is Cinco de Mayo....my rough translation turned out to have to do something with mayonnaise...
I think the Mother's day one would be brilliant. It would be so appropriate considering the type of guild this is. However, I also think that I want to spend some time with my mom on that day xd

Cinco de Mayo translates to The Fifth of May... Its a Mexican holiday. It could be a chance to have a fiesta.
Cinco de Mayo Wikepedia definition:
"("The Fifth of May" in Spanish) is a national holiday in Mexico which is also widely celebrated in the United States. It commemorates the victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza over the French occupational forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
It is a common misconception that Cinco de Mayo is Mexico's Independence Day, which is celebrated on September 16th ("Dieciseis de septiembre" in Spanish), but actually it is a celebration of the battle."
I think that we could do something the day before or after Mother's Day so that we could spend time with our Moms.

Oh I should really say Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there xd . I'm a little off. Homework is starting to get to me I think.
btw Thanks for the info on Cinco de Mayo I won't be so out of the loop now. Strangely enough soon after I asked you that question there was a commercial for Ellen with her "Cinco de Mayo" celebration.

We did not get to do anything recently. I was too busy working on some other things. If anyone has an idea for a guild event let me know, or start a thread to see what the other ladies think.
As far as help with the clothes, if you'd like to ask for help, go ahead and start a thread, and let people know about what you're looking for, help picking out some clothes. Let them know what you like, so that they can tektek some ideas for you. 3nodding

I've got a suggestion:
To make things around the guild more interesting we should plan events ahead of time, like a schedule. It would make people more aware of whats gonna happen next so they don't have to wait around and hope something fun will happen.
