I've played for four years. I started in fourth grade and am still playing now in 8th grade [and all that practicing paid off, I'm top flutist in the school].

Going on five years for me. I can't wait to start lessons with a good teacher. I've wasted most of time not practicing and generally sucking, but now that I practice I'm so much better and better then most of the flutes in my highschool.

3.5 years now.
My ebay flute is BARELY holding up after all the wear-and-tear of marching band/dropping it/regular band/Flute noobs......

I've been playing for a little over a year, but am still really good. I was put in 8th grade band during 6th grade

well ive played since 4th grade ,9 years old and im in 9th , 14 years old. so five years.. well four b/c i moved and one year there wasnt a band program,wich sucked! oh well.hehe

i have played flute for 5 years now...i just progressed really fast. as for piccolo...3 years? something like that anyway...

Since grade 6, so 7 years. And I played piccolo for 3.

I have been playing for 2 years this my 3rd. I am in Adnanced band and I am in 4th chair ( it's all the stupid 9th graders fault and they don't even pay attention and they come in late because they always talk)
