the halfhuman alchemist yeah, we also only have two. it sucks, but atleast i always get the solos and first chair without having to tryout. then again, that is one of the more exciting parts of being in band. having to worry about whether or not you are better than someone else, but this year the other baritone sucks. in fact, he's pathetic, he was a percussionist and has no idea how to make a noise using a mouthpiece. Hah, I know what you mean... I am actually a percussionist too, but I don't suck... in fact, I've been told I'm almost as good as someone in symphonic (the higher level band... I'm in the lower level band) band who's been playing brass since middle school (I haven't been playing for a full year yet). Sorry, didn't mean to brag.

I am so totally first chair oboe! Who cares that I'm the only oboe! *is lonely* I'm last chair saxophone, but that's understandable since I have only been playing for three months. The others have been for two years. I'm not doing too bad though.

I started out as a percussionist. But yeah, this year for concert and symphonic band, my BD started "drafting" percussionists into the wind section. Alot of them aren't that great, but at least they have a good attitude... There is always at least one totally obnoxious and disrespectful freshman percussionist in every high school concert band and believe me... we got one.

Neko-Hime-Chan Eruko-Chan Was in middle school ... Where I'm at now we don't really have chair orders ... Just that seniority gets first parts ... sorry dear. You'd probably be first if we actaully took a playing test, but think of how many ppl you're shaming by being so darn good ~.^ anyway I'm technically first chair for clarinets.. but I sit wherever I want 'cause our teacher doesn't really care... sad Somehow ... I knew you were going to find this ... sweatdrop
