The movie was gone rather quickly. My guess is that not many people saw it and most of those who did were hard-core Tenacious D fans who saw the movie as soon as it came out.

I saw it. It had been snowing for about... 2 days before. And it was snowing when we were walking ot the theatre. I was a bit sick but I went anyway! Actuallythat doesn't even count. One of my friends walked for about an hour in the snow to come see the movie. It was sooo good!!!!

I don't get to got to the movies much but when i heard about PoD i made it my mission to see it and it was sooooo much better then anything i thought it was going to be i was laughing for most of the movie

OH MY GOSH I HAVE FINALLY SEEN THE MOVIE, I WATCHED IT LAST NIGHT XD
I have to say that it is an awesome movie and I definately reccomend anyone who hasn't seen it to try and find a pirate copy or something. Its just AWESOMENESS biggrin

revivedmidnight Oh my gosh who has seen this movie? I just saw it today and I swear I cried twice while watching it due to the beauty! crying cool twisted mrgreen ninja biggrin I have seen it 5 times now.. (two times in one row, and then 5 times in 2 weeks.. believe me I have seen it enough for a month!)

That's because in the movie he doesn't play himself entirely.
Even though JB is almost entirely based around Jack Black he is still a different character in the movie than who he actually is.

I saw the movie the friday it came out, then that night I went to the Tenacious D concert. lol what a very D-filled day.

Sotto Waratteru I've seen it five times now (obsessive much) and I'm probably going to see it a few more. It's easily my favorite movie. Also because it's "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny" (please note the 'in') there is the possibility of sequals. At the end when they have the bong of destiny, thats just begging for a sequel.
