Bruce looked on.....this was going to be so hard on him.

"The last thing I remember...?" Alfred mused. "Well...I was about to be shipped to America to begin training...so that I could serve someone named 'Wayne'..." He cast his head down, making his shaggy brown bangs fall in front of his eyes. "That's all I know."

Bruce gave into a sigh. and looked deep into the scared eyes of the young man in front of him...then nodded his head.
"Thats right....and you are in the right place." Bruce decided to try and sound confident and upbeat.
"This is Wayne Mannor and I am Mr. Bruce Wayne....you did come here from England to serve my family......but" Bruce paused. here was where it was going to get sticky.
"That was over 40 some years ago Alfred...you have served this family very well......but unfortuanly you have had an accident that has injured you in such a way that you are void of your past memories and have regained your pysical youth."
Bruce stopped and held his breath...he wasnt sure how this Alfred was going to take this news...or if he would even belief him.

Keira looked over at Bruce, she blinked for a kinute, thinking back his words for herself. She was always amazed at how sometimes the truth sounded crazier than any lie.

Alfred stared at Bruce as if the man had a giant pimple. "But...but that's impossible!" he stammered, his small, British voice cracking. "My fifteenth birthday was just in September..."

Bruce was at a loss hearing the boy on the edge of tears.
"I...know this is going to be difficult...but your just going to have to trust me...all you need to understand now is that your safe here....I will watch over you"
The last phrase echoed in his ears...Alfred had said that to him so many years ago when he was a boy...alone and scared.

Still hugging his legs, the young Alfred nodded slowly. He wiped the tears from his face and looked up at Bruce.

Bruce leaned over and swept a bit of stay hair away from Alfred face.
"Its all going to be alright" he said giving him a smile
"Do you trust me?" he resting his gentle hand on the young mans shoulder

Bruce smiled at his words...they seemed familiar yet so strange comming from one so young.
"Good boy" he finnaly said ruffleing the boys hair ...Now do you feel well enough to get up?..or would you prefer to rest some more?"

The young Alfred sprang out of bed, and landed next to Bruce. He wobbled a bit, still reeling from the effects of the chemicals. "I...I believe I'm fine, sir...er...Master Wayne."

Bruce admired young Alfreds determination...somthing that would only grow deeper in him...and he helped steady the boy to his feet.
Bruce looked up seeing Keira and d**k still standing a way off..he guided young Alfred toward them with his hand.
"I am sure you three are going to find you have more in common then you ever did before" he smiled. "Keira, d**k why dont you help Alfred feel more at home and show him around"

Smiling as invitingly as she could, Keira nodded enthusiastically. "Sure thing!" she smiled a little wider, then looked at d**k and smirked at him. Now you can go hyper...she reminded him, wondering what else Alfred remembered from his teen days.

As Alfred was gently pushed in front of d**k and Keira, he blushed. Blinking, he looked at the ground. "Um...hi. S-so...uh.." he stammered, shifting his feet nervously.
