I completely love the film, guys, don't get me wrong, I spent like...$29 dollars for the DVD, it's just my opinion on this. It was very well done, all of Miyazaki's films are.

Well, when you think about it most Miyazaki endings are a bit quizzical.

Like Spirited Away! I mean, do they move into the new house?
Does she meet Haku again? (I can't remember his name, it's been a while since I've seen it) And does she ever go back or what?

Anyway...I would say that is a wee bit weird for an ending. But I'm sure Miyazaki loves the viewers to be in suspsense and ask questions.
