But yeah, it would be a stupid move to make Halo 3 come out on the old Xbox, they need another killer app to boost the 360 above PS3, and what better way to do that than Halo 3? We've got Gears (I hate Playstations with a passion) and Halo to boost up the sales.
Even releasing it on the PC at the same time would damage their sales somewhat, since Vista has only just got Halo 2, so releasing it so soon afterwards would be a bit of a bad move.
You gotta think marketing with all this. Microsoft is out for your money and they will get it, no matter how hard you try. But personally, I'd cry if they ever even thought of releasing Halo 3 on the original Xbox. Halo 2 was bad enough, Halo 3 would be ruined. The Xbox just doesn't possess enough sheer power to handle such a game.
Xbox 360 = Halo 3yea they definatly steal money.
i have to agree we already have gears and quake 4, H3 would boost the 360 way above ps3 but when it first came out theire was only one good game for it anyways their were many good games for the 360 like just cause,command and conquer and other things the ps3 still has that one lonely good game Resistance Fall of Man.i dont think we really need to worry about the playstaion getting any higher ratings than 360 if it stays like this for awhile.Also usually after they make the really good version of a game for the people with money and have the latest systems they usually tend to make a waterd down version so everyone can get it like Halo:Combat Evolved started out only on Xbox then made its way to pc
