The town was quiet, with everyone preparing to settle in for the night. The innkeeper was preparing to add the padding to keep the chills out before he heard screeches from outside. Stricken confused, he and several other quickly went outside, confronting the terrified woman.
"What's wrong ma'am? Why we're you screaming?" The innkeeper asked the woman, trying to keep her from panicing anymore. The woman weezed, trying to take deep breaths as she spoke.
"A man... he... he came out...of his coffin. He was dead... dead! And he came out! Right there...in front of my eyes! AN UNDEAD MONSTER!" She pratically screamed, causing her trouble with breathing.
"Undead? Ma'am... are you sure you're alright?" He asked her, glancing at the others who stood around with looks of confusion and disbelief. The woman only shook her head, her eyes seeming to shrink as she screamed and pointed at a distant figure that was approaching the town, causing even more concern and worry amoungst the people as they squinted to see the figure.

Saisei smiled, just barely and took out two mint leaves.
"Thank you. Would you like something in return?" she asked. Money was no object for Saisei. She had plenty, and what she didn't have...she could always 'aquire'.

He goraned quietly, his bones cracking quietly as he walked towards the town, town?. Slowly he was makeing it there, people were shouting and looking towards him. He turned slightly as he walked, looking behind at what they saw, nothing. "aaauhhh h....eeeell.....lp" he managed to say, though the words ment nothing to him as he continued on, stumbleing as his limped foward.

Sora just blinked and shook his head, a small smile as he jarred the lid and shoved it back into the pack, with a yelp he tummbled down the stairs as the old lady screamed once more, his pack tummbling down with him landing right on him as he lay in a pile at the end of the stairs groaning as he slowly tried to stand, only to have the heavy pack wiegh him down. Rolling from under the pack, he sighed and listened to the people talk, as he began to quickly repack his pack.
"Dead people? ....Zombie!?"
He shouted, blinking as he shook his head. Thinking it all a joke.

The word Zombie brought to Saisei's mind images of the way her people sent their kings to the next world, wrapped tightly in the whitest of cloths...She followed the boy down the stairs, tucking the mint leaves into a side of her mouth, the oils, already working wonders on her ailments. She grabbed his arm and helped him up, her smaller frame abnormally strong. She looked to the door, pulling from under her cloak a long, dangerous looking damascus sword, and touching the eye on her tiara for a moment, saying a word of prayer or two.

Shelden blinked and frowned at the owl, swatting at it a bit.
"Hey! Hey...heeeyyy... none of that now! My kind may like animals, but I don't have to take that now!" He said, blinking and hearing someone topple down the stairs from behind him. He blinked and looked over his shoulder, before glancing over again and catching sight of people rushing out the inn.
"What's going on now?" He asked mostly to himself, getting up from his seat at the fire and walking over to the door. He blinked and stepped outside, hanging close to the doorway as he watched the commotion.
The innkeeper's eyes, along with the other folk around, grew wide at the sight, the woman's scream piercing the air again as he came to full sight.
"By gods! It is the walking dead!" Someone nearly shouted from the group. The innkeeper quickly scrambled backwards, dragging the woman and pushing her towards the inn door.
"Head inside, everyone! Now!" He ordered, motioning everyone to head inside while keeping his eyes locked on the oncoming undead.

The cadaver kept growing nearer to the town, limping and stumbleing deafly. A hollow yell came from his throat towards the townspeople as he began to speed up at a slow rate. Something was scareing them, Scareing? Fear? And he didn't know what it was, something behind him... somethign told him to move, to run to safety, and he did. The town was less than a few minutes away now.

Sora blinked at her weapon, setting his pack down, he adjusted his hidden pack and made his way for the door, stopping at the windows he blinked seeing the figure come closer.
"What? That's not a person?"
Looking about at all the panic, he sighed knowing he wouldn't get a good nights rest unless this was over he ran outside, a few feet from the Inn's door, he took a rather 'odd' stance, for the people round these parts, his eyes locking on his 'target'.
"Just a little closer..."
He murmured, wanting nothing more then to get a good nights rest.

Magdalena nipped at Shelden's hand as he swatted, squacking in mild annoynance at being jarred this way and that. She clung to him, however, even when he got up and walked to the door. She gave a peck on his head in annoyance to his moving. The comotion, however, caused her to over look her perch's wayward movements and look now to the panic outside.
Magdalena flew from Shelden's head and inside the Inn, taking herself to perch at the window she'd been let in from. A supposedly dead being walking forward wasn't something one would normally see in these instances, but she wasn't completely surprised at it, either.
~Stay put until something needs to be done. Most likely a fool will take it out.~ She thought to herself.

Saisei started to run for the door, and when she got to the door frame, she held onto it for a moment, panting. As helpful as the mint was, she was still hurting, She coughed violently for a moment then began to go outside.
"Miss you can't go out," a man called and grabbed her arm. Saisei threw him off and cracked him upside the head with the hilt of her sword.
"Don't touch me," she hissed and ran out of the door, catching up to Sora in no time, and even passing him a little bit. She stopped a few yards before the living corpse and pointed her sword at it.
"You do not belong in this world anymore. What do you here?" she demanded.

Shelden watched carefully as people ran out to confront this 'walking-dead' avoiding being ushered back into the inn by the innkeeper. He watched the man try and help the fellow who Saisei had hit, catching the look of uncertainty one the innkeeper's face as he looked back at the two before dragging the man inside. Selden took a few step closers, wanting to help if he could, blinking as the sound of a lock snapping shut caught his ear.
"What the...?!" He said, turning around and running back towards the inn, trying the handle on the door only to find it didn't budge.
"What the heck?! You can't go locking people out here you crazy- CAN YOU EVEN HEAR ME?!" He shouted, slamming a fist at the door and yelping, hopping back a bit and nursing it.
"Oww..." He grumbled, noticing the cold and quickly retrieving his gloves from inside his robes. He pulled then on, giving a little shiver before standing up.
"Ugh... could've at least given me my staff... book makes no good for fighting..." He grumbled.

The cadaver moved it's mouth and spoke, trying to form words. "ooouuugh... he...lll....lp uuuurgh...." he said, walking towards thos brave enough to still be outside. What they said made no sense, but it did too... he oculdn't explain it but he understood what they said.... but he also had no idea what they ment.

Magdalena fluttered to the ground, where-in she transformed into her human self. Long ebody locks shaded her fair and gentle visage as she ran to the door that had so rudely shut her perch out in the cold. With grace, and eagerness, she opened it to let the poor boy back inside.
"You should stay where it's safe and warm, young master." She told him. She reached out and grabbed him, dragging him back inside before slamming the door shut behind him.

"Huh?!"
In a single leap, he made a swift drag kick, the snow and his water from his hidden pack creating a rather large tidal wave (at least 8 feet high) before it became a long thick wall of ice.
Now a foot behind Saisei, he frowned looking at the creature behind the wall of ice.
"Did that thing just talk?"
He murmured more to himself then Saisei.

Saisei nodded her head, fighting a cough.
"Yes. It wants help. The pitiful creature doesn't even know it's dead," she said. She reached into a pocket of her muslin coat and pulled out a handful of something.
"Shield your eyes," she warned, throwing the item to the ground, creating a flash of white, white light and lavender smoke. The wall of ice glistened like lightning. Saisei skulked atop the wall of ice, leaping down towards the rotting mass and delivering a swift blow to it's head with one of her lithe feet. She hit the snow hard, and rolled, the tangible white crunching under her. She laid there for a second or two, and coughed harshly, a small spatter of blood landing on the virgin blanket of crystal. She stood, wiping her mouth and pointed her blade at the creature.
"I will deliver you into death now if you so wish," she said, her voice rattling in her throat.
