"My dear, if you had class you would not use such words in front of impressionable young ladies." He snorted softly, golden eyes narrowing at her. "You would bite your tongue or, if you could not bite it, because not all can, you would find a way to speak your mind with ellogance; striking like a deadly poison and not like a clumsy viper who has yet to figure out how to use its fangs."
Maeve's eyes went wide as she stared at the golden male who was putting Jhadia in her place. She had never seen anyone do that before. Oooh... She liked him. She liked him alot.
As did Beryl... Well, not like as much as she had an infinate amount of respect for the words that he was saying. They were true and, as much as Jhadia could learn from them, so could she. Aaralyn had tried to teach her to always be kind... But there were some times when one must be firm; times such as this.

She got up off her haunches and snorted at him. "They aren't young ladies. They are horrible little brats, one of which who thinks she is the Queen of all and should get respect on this fact alone." She set her shoulders and walked past this strange one. Who was he to tell her she didn't have class. He didn't have any for interrupting a conversation that he had no reason to be in.
"You deal with them. I'm sure they will be easily impressed upon by you" She flicked her tail and headed away from the other three. She could go back home where she was appreciated.

His laughter, the rich sound of which caught the two younger females near him by suprise, followed Jhadia's retreat into the woods. It carried on for a moment before he called after her. "When you find yourself thinking that I was right, remember this spot in the woods. Come here and, if you're lucky, I will meet you again and teach you some class."
Beryl stepped up after he'd finished speaking. "Your words were wise, stranger. I thank you for saying them."
He turned towards her slowly, calling his wings back into the tangible before spreading them in preperation for takeoff. "No, Beryl. Thank you. It is rare to meet one who just might be True. I wish you both well with yon viper. Fear not. Her venom is only deadly if one lets it sink in." He nodded once to Beryl, flashing a wink at Maeve before taking off. Kids these days... Exactly what sort was the Center breeding?
