AnarchyXCore i say there aint a true thing called "punk fashion." if ur a punk, ur a punk. posers n mallfags are not. anyways, you dont gotta wear a certain kinda clothes to be a punk, u dont gotta act a certain way, you dont gotta stud n patch all ur stuff. if u do it, great for u. i dress the way i do cuz i like it, i may go to hot topic for shirts n crap but i actually like that stuff. and to aus-rotten. u may criticize me all u want if u wish it, but in the end ill tell u to ******** off and die because i am myse lf and ill do wut i want herey-herey!!!!

[Aus-Rotten] cherrynightmare13 Well, for the most part that's true... for some reason, around here all the "mall punks" who go to the high school where I went are always asking me about clothes, hair dye, music, etc. Its like I'm the punk guru of this small redneck town...lol! blaugh Tell them to find out themselves. Ha, daily highlight!

I like puiting together an insane outfit. Clothes are a great canvas. And although a bit of fashion came from punk, It wont make you punk. but that's kind of obvious. I think punk fashion makes a statement that the look is controlled by the people wearing it. Not the places where you buy it from. You don't have to look like anything. You could ware stretchy pants, or a whole chicken stretched over your head. What ever is you deep down inside you.
(but cook the chicken first)

That would be usally becase they are agiasnt captilism, which Hot Topic is a huge Chain.
And thats another reason why Punks are agiasnt it.
As for me. Punk isn't chains, or safty pins. Maybe in the 70's it was big becuase it was so far out of the norm. But now everyone does it, so what statment is that?
Punk Fashion=DIY
Make your own clothes, shove it in the consumers face and be proud.
modify with bleach art-work, sew lace to everything, make skirts out of old Band Tees, things no one else but you could think of.
And yes. Punk Has Fashsion, every subcultre has a fashion. Dosn't mean you HAVE to follow it. Most really good Punk bands just wear Tees and Jeans. But somtimes peaple like to be creative.
