Oh wow, that makes sense. I sleep a lot, as in long hours, like 9-10 hours straight because I'm unhealthy and a couch potato. But like most nights I don't remember having a dream, and I've never to my recolection dreamed in black and white, but like, I'm thinking that has to do with how long I sleep, if I take in so many hours, there's less of a chance that I'll remember dreaming about something because I'll have been in those black and white dreams for most of the time. mrgreen

Celtic Mystick purple richie Celtic Mystick purple richie I once had this scary vision which i dont think was a dream. I was in bed (but i had just got in ) i was still awake... when i turned my head, I saw myself....as if my spirit had been seperated from my body... please help me explain this it freaked the s**t out of me sad That is called astral projection. Or...out of body experience. what is astral projection? If it bad...or am I just more psychic than i think i am Astral projection is when your spirit leaves your body. Sometimes it is by will, other times it just happens. It is a natural ability that everyone has.In that particular state of our being we can go anywhere, to other planets, to other realities, to others dreams. eek The possiblities in that form are only limited by ones will and belief of where they can or cannot go. However in that state you are also vunerable to psychic attack by negative beings that excist within our realm and other realms you may visit. Not all the beings you encounter in a astral travel will be negative, some are positive, but the negative ones are exteamly dangerous! If you encounter such a being always will your self back to your body and re enter it as to they cannot harm you there. WOW that is really cool! Did it ever happen to you? I didnt stay out long though...just the time to see myself and freak a little razz

Many of my dreams are effected by what is going on around me while I am sleeping. For example, one night I dremt that I got shot in the ankle. I had broken the ankle earlier that day and had kicked it in my sleep, shooting a horrendous amount of pain up my leg. I fell out of bed and hit my head on the ground, which is exactly what happened in my dream.

Or sometimes...I go into my own self to find answers with out knowing it. Its like a dealing with problems sorta thing.

I think a decent explination might be that it WAS a dream, it could EASILY have skewed your sense of time and even memory of falling asleep (s**t happens) and then stuff gets wonky from there.
But I imagine it was just your brain gettin creatively skrewy with you.

Astral projection sounds fun, but I think there are limits (which falls right into your explanation of the psyche, I know... oh, well). I mean, I have attempted it before (not knowing what it was called) and I think when I leave do it, I'm just pretending and basing it all on memory.
Dreams phasing into reality are odd. I once had a dream that I was playing battleship, but the little plastic pieces were actually firing. One hit me in the finger, and when I woke up, I had been pushing that finger really hard into a corner of my bedframe. Wierd, how the psyche fills in reasons like that.

But I imagine it was just your brain gettin creatively skrewy with you.Honestly I don't know what to think. At first I completely agreed with Moonlite, because how can you spirit just leave the body? Then I remembered that pet psychic stuff, which I do somewhat believe in. (Mainly becaue I feel like I have experianced the pet psychic stuff personally, but then again, I could have been my head making stuff up. So, could the astral projection could be something like that..... confused As far a dreams go, I have phases. I can go for about a week where I can remember one, or even a couple of short dreams , every night. And them I have phases where I can't remember one dream.

[XxGuardianDevilxX] Is it true that the average person has about 7 dreams a night but can only remember one at the most? Not necessarily, I often remember several dreams from a single sleep. Generally though, this comes from an unrestful sleep. So the chances I woke up between the dreams are pretty high.

I'm not sure about dreams. I've had experiences where a dream came 'true' within a few moments after me waking up, or after several days. Dreams are interesting subjects to get into.. and No, I didn't know that we had more than one dream a night.. or ones in Black and white..
What I want to know though, is how do they know this?

I sometimes have dreams that come true. I don't think I'm psychic or anything, but it's just odd. I usually don't remember them when I wake up, but when the experience actually occurs I can recall dreaming about it. I get a sense of deja vu pretty much. I told my mother about this and she said that she experienced that when she was younger, but hasn't in a long time. It's never really serious stuff, just clips of certain occurences. The biggest thing I ever dreamed about that came true was driving by a car accident infront of Blockbuster on my way to school.
I haven't been remembering my dreams lately, which depresses me. When I was younger I used to have reoccuring dreams a lot. Like usually before my first soccer game of the season I'd have this same weird dream about soccer. Or I used to dream about being chased by a poisonous dungbeetle quite often, too. sweatdrop

People have been studying our other consciousness levels for decades! i don't know how they found it though...but they did
