He looked at his open palm and saw a flash of something metallic.

He glared at her.
"I won't let there be a world where trust doesn't exist! What the hell happened to the world I knew?! Sure, there was war, people hated each other sometimes, but they still had hearts!"
He looked down at her and stopped yelling.

He stands up and walks over to her, smiling sadly.
"I can't honestly say I have one. But you seem lonely, and...I'm unarmed, I don't know anyone around here, how could I break your trust, even if I wanted to? Another thing that bugs me...why would I? I barely even know you, but so far I see no reason to dislike you. I'm kinda starting to like you a bit."
He smiled at her.
"What if I was to demonstrate total trust in you first? Then would you trust me?"

Tai looked up as the bounty hunter entered the bar. She starred at him for a minute then turned back to the man that spoke to her. "You shouldn't trust anybody. Me most of all." She said quietly then sighed. "I am lonely. I admit it. You would be too if-" She bit her lip. "My name is Tai."
