R_D_S (As a Moderator of this guild and considering what work I have put into the tournament I have to say this. I think the blow to the back of the leg should have connected, furthermore I ask why does Dax not take any damage? It doesn't seem a fair situation to me.) ((Kneel down directly infront of someone. Then try to make your elbow touch the back of their knee. It won't happen. Even if you dislocate every joint in your arm, your elbow will not touch the back of their leg. the ONLY parts of hte knee you would be able to get would be the front, or the side. Even right now, sitting at your computer. Move you elbow around in any way you want, and picture someones leg right infront of you. You will notice that despite the fact that your elbow can move in a varitiy of directions, it only does a slight arc, not enough to hit the rear of something. Furthermore, Dax does take damage, but like myself, it takes alot to actually affect/bother him. Which is completly reasonable. Perfect example, I was hit by a car, full force. Rolled over the hoop and right up ti the roof, then fell off the side. I tore my leg and hand to s**t, and smacked my head off the ground. Within 20 seconds I was back up on my feet and walking around fine. Now look at seasoned martial artists and monks. They can put their fists, feet, knees, elbows, and even theirs heads through blocks of stone without a care in the world, and they do this without thakeing any form of damage. I have personally seen someone drive their bare shoulder through 15 stone blocks. When they were done, they could still move their ENTIRE arm perfectly and without any pain. Not to mention there was not a single drop of blood on the person. With the correct training of the body, pain can easily be blocked, and some damage avoided. Plus, Dax also took the full force of one of the girls attacks. And heck, it knocked him clear onto his a**. Watch Spike TV, or check out YouTube.com for some UFC Fights. People on their take full force kicks to the jaw all the time and get right back up onto their feet as if nothing happpened.))

((As far as the knee maybe I wasn't clear enough or misunderstood exact positioning of things. I had seen more to the side then directly being in front of Dax which would of made the attack completely possible. Miscommunication I suppose. Much like in your current post, I'm not sure if he's just stomping down and as such will still be standing or if it's more of a dive which would put him at a closer range.))
Anita rolled quickly, narrowly missing the kick moving through the roll, she attempted a kick of her own, hands tot he ground as her leg lashed outwards.

((indeed, since there was no real statment made as to the poistioning in the elbow attack, i just assumed both characters were right infront of eachother. But, if your character was to the side, the attack totally would have it. And with the current attack, its just a normal stomp, with one leg still on the ground .... Well make next move in abit.. must get back to work now razz ))

((If I can cut in here, and don't get pissed at me but after reading the whole match, from a wrestling fans point of view I have to say I saw in my minds eye as well that the Kid would have been to the side. I think Jesse ment well and I think Anita is doing great considering she is just that. A Kid going against a full grown man who doesn't seem to sell moves. It is reasons like this that people wanted to introduce the dice for hp damage. I think you both are strong writers. I am proud that you havn't acted immature in handling this. Kudos to you. If it was up to me I'd say Draw and give you both half the monies but hell, I just want people happy!))

(( lol, but, if someone jumps stright on at someone, and the person ((Dax)) moves backwards, they are going to land right infront, not to the side, lol. And useing dice for HP dmage is a good idea, I agree with that. But there would be alot more work that would have to be done, other then just figureing out HP... And hell, I aint pissed or even frustrated in the slightest, lol. Cause i know in my heart, that anything I did in this match was perfectly fine by any guide lines, and totally possible in real life ^_^ But, wtf does "sell moves" mean?))

((We discussed this in Im's so matter is closed here, as for anyone reading the rolling of the dice is not for damage, if we did it it would be only if the move connected or not.))

Anita_Paper ((Three days)) Anita rolled quickly, narrowly missing the kick moving through the roll, she attempted a kick of her own, hands tot he ground as her leg lashed outwards. The kick connected to Dax's midsection as Anita continued her rotation and movement, ending with her feet underneath her and quickly trying for a palm strike uppercut to Dax's jaw.

The kick to his mid-section knocked him back a few steps, lilightly dazeing him. The follow up attack to his jaw knocked him back yet another few steps as well. After a few shakes of his head, and a spat of blood to the ground, he lowerd his stance, flicked his arms down to his sides to draw forth his daggers, then readied himself for the attack. Pain ment few things to Dax, but what it did mean was rage fuled by endorphins(sp?) and aderaline(sp?) With a quick dash forward he poised his body for hte strike. Upon reaching the proximity of the girl he jumped to the right side of her so they were standing perfectly side by side. useing the same momentum from the dash and the jump he let his body follow through with a low aimed ((lower leg, knee/calf area)) round house kick owards the rear of her body, as he also swung out both of his daggers in the same motion as his kick, but slashing towards hte mid section

One of her legs lashed out for a strike behind the knee while the other was at the front of Dax's leg just above the ankle for a scissors like move.

One thing the girl didnt count on though. The follow through of his kick. If she was still close enough to Dax's leg, that also ment that she was close enough for her leg to be kicked out of direction from the follow through of his round house kick. After planting his leg back onto the ground he took a quick hop backwards to increase the distance between the two as he launched his dagger down to the sides of the girl
