Yes Kenji that is also my plan wehn I get my first car. Bring it up to Drift spec then start a team. I already have a few guys willing to join. One is getting a 240...alright I lied. I only have one guy.

One is a start, none of my buddies are that into cars to join any racing team i make. I think I am a special breed of person quite different from many of the people I know.
This one thing that sets me apart from every one els will either kill me or make me damn fast on or off the track.

I have somthing loose in my brain, or its not working probperly or somthing. That somthing takes my hands off the handle bars or my bike at 40+km/h and tells me Im safe.
So I want to refine this loose bolt (loosen it more) but in a cleaver way. Im going to do a advanced driving sometime this year or next, then when I go off to the Uk I'll be doing all the driving corses I can especially a Rally one, then its off to France to do stunt driving, then on to Germany for a few spins on the autobann.
by that time I should be pretty skilled.

Skilled or killed. Whichever one decides to happen first.

Yep, but here's whats wrong with me, I don't mind diying in the persuit of skill. But if I happen to get married or I find that special some one before I can perform a dynamic high angle high speed drift, then I'll probably mellow out. But for now Im just a Lonly Driver crying

A 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo. For now. I may buy a Celica GT or an MR2 though since I need a car for drifting and the Supra Turbo is way too heavy.

Sweet, Im going to do the same if I get a s13 200sx (180sx stateside).

Yeah but the American version of the 180 is so tuned down it isn't even worth buying. Much better just to buy a 240 and do the conversion.

Well I don't want to start drifting with too much power. I want to master the power I get when I get my first car. I want to push the car to its limit, and then and only then when I can't go any faster with the techniques I know, then I will start modding.

But if I get the 1.6 (maby 1.8 ) 85' corolla sedan then the things would change, If the cylinder head was only a OHC head, then I would find a twin cam head. But the mods I would to would be mostly cosmetic and suspension based. And then getting the engine to handle the high revs

Just remember, sticker tuning only makes your car look fast. Work from the inside out and never the other way around 3nodding

Oh, as for the manufacturer stickers in Inital D, there were 2 real sponsors. Keisuke's FD had a MazdaSpeed body kit and Shingo's EG6 had a Spoon engine. There might be more, but I didn't catch them.

I think there were more actually but I am too lazy to go check it out now. And come to think of it the sponsor stickers really started picking up around third and fourth stage.

And what is all of this nonsense about sticker tuning?

"Sticker tuning" is what you would call "ricing a car" in America. Japanese love to use that word, especially when you see morons in R34's with a million stickers get their asses handed to them by a Nissan March 3nodding

As for the stickers in Initial D, they were always there, but they just never made the transition over from the manga to the anime. Oh, and I remembered a third sponsor. Although Takumi's car doesn't have a sticker for it, his second engine was a Class A TRD 20-valve AE86 racing engine (or maybe it was class B; I forget already).
