One of my favorite books is The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley... it's one of those King Arthur books, but it's a really good one if you like Fantasy.
Another book I love is The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley. Totally excellent.
I recently bought the book Eragon, but haven't found time to read it yet... gotta do that sometime. I liked the first couple Harry Potter books, but I didn't care much for the 4th one, and haven't had the chance to read the last three. As for Poe... well... it's okay, but I'm not a big fan... it's just not my kind of thing.

Alanna : the first adventure Song of the Lioness quartet: book one Perce, Tamora.
Eleven-year-old Alanna, who aspires to be a knight even though she is a girl, disguises herself as a boy to become a royal page, a learning many hard lessons along her path to high adventure. (yeah that’s what the library site says it makes it sound bad but it’s great) I shows that women can be just as strong as men can if not better. It’s got great characters. It’s funny and serious at the same time. I’ve read it three times, and I totally recommend it.

Book Babe I used to read Poe all the time. I think his writing is amazing. I live in Baltimore, which is where he died, and I am looking forward to going downtown to the Poe museum. He's buried here too. Its really neat because they say his ghost is still here. He haunts the graveyard where he is buried. The Poe house is haunted to..lol.. I love Poe. My brother loves Poe even more than I do though. He loves the stories and has a complete collection of his stories being read on CD. I like the folklore more though. If your ever anywhere near Baltimore, MD, you should take a trip to the Poe house. Its supposed to be really neat. wow I think I will go there After I get out of high School! me and a few friends were planing to take a trip all around to the best haunts, and the wiredest things! we all have been saving up for it! and I think I just added a new place on the Map! thank you Very much! *bows*

Lito_Serenity I am reading about a person named Theodore Roosevelt.
this is the first page. Teddy Roosevelt was a weak, asthmatic child who grew up to be one of the most robust and ambitious U.S. presidents ever. A former New York City police commissioner, author, and hero of the Spanish-American War, he reluctantly accepted an offer to become William McKinley's vice president upon McKinley's re-election in 1900. When McKinley was assassinated in 1901, Roosevelt became the youngest man ever to become president. He served two terms, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1905, and strengthened the executive branch through his progressive agenda and the sheer force of his personality. He is often remembered for his policy pronouncement, "Speak softly and carry a big stick." He was succeeded in 1909 by William Howard Taft. Extra credit: Roosevelt was the first president to visit a foreign country, Panama, in 1906... He was the 26th U.S. president... The Rough Riders were an all-volunteer cavalry regiment organized by Roosevelt and Leonard Wood in 1898; on July 1 of that year he led the Rough Riders on successful charges up Kettle Hill and San Juan Heights (better known as San Juan Hill) near Santiago, Cuba, thus cementing his fame in America.
I'm not really big on reading biographies. I enjoy knowing how people became who they are. I enjoy looking at pictures of people before they became famous. I think thats really neat.

I like to tell people that its every bit of an epic. I love that the next book picks up right after the first one. Its great. there are no lags, and no repeating. its wonderful.

I've never read any of janet evanovich's books. Stephen King i've read Thinner-VERY SCARY, The Green Mile (not so scary) and couple of other ones. I'm more into his older books. They're not so commercial. But he's good either way.
