If the clothes are to keep them warm its fine but not if the clothes would humiliate the dogs.

Personally I think clothing for dogs is fine as long as it does not restrict their movement and as long as the dog does not mind wearing it.
If a dog is obviously uncomfortable and unhappy, they should not be made to wear something unless it's very cold and they have little or no fur (in other words if it is a safety/health issue). If that is the case you should find the least uncomfortable coat/sweater possible.
Dogs do not get humiliated, they are not people.

I dont mind clothes on dogs as long as they arnt in them all the time. after all they are dogs and not just a accessory.

My pug Lilly has her own dresser full of clothes to wear in the winter or when it's wet and muddy out. I don't think dogs should wear clothes in the summer because they can overheat too easily

my chihuahua looks really cute in a shirt called "high roller" and she has a raincoat and a sweater for bad weather. 4laugh she's the cutest ever in clothes! she doesn't mind, why should we? its not like I'm gonna just put one on her in 100 degree weather.
