Jix KiraDarkmoon Oh jeez. I'm really big on Classical. Holst is my favorite composer, but I listen to a lot of Mozart and Strauss for their horn concertos, some Shostakovich, Vaughn Williams, and some other random stuff. It's all good. Jazz is awesome too. Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, the good old traditional jazz. None of that crazy contemporary and stuff. Well, I suppose Chick Corea is good, but you know. Last of all, I love the 70's. Best. Era. Ever, haha. I'm so big on Earth, Wind, and Fire, Tower of Power, Rick James, all of the stuff included in Motown (so much to naaaame!). Have to love it. Techno owns, too. 3nodding Motown owns! biggrin YUSS, it does. I've been listening to it all day, it's uber uber fun. ^___^ Oh, and Screamer, I'd look up all of the stuff she said, as well, as I gave you more Traditional and big band jazz while hers was more modern and contemporary. Both good, though. 3nodding

i'm a HUGE classical music nut. Strauss, Bach, and Vivaldi usually, but Bach is my favorite. ::snuggles the old dead guy baroque:: Elliot del Borgo, too. he wrote a lot of the music that i played in orchestra class, and they're gorgeous. heart
i lurf C-K-J music, rock/pop/rap, because it's a different spin on mainstream genres. also, it helps me learn the languages by trying to figure out what the heck they're saying. ^^; i like Gackt... ninja , as well as L'arc, hide, baroque, cali=gari, pierrot, drug store cowboys, the brilliant green, BoA, shinhwa, Vanness Wu, cherry filter, chemistry, m-flo, maaya, hiki, etc. i should stop before the list kills a puppy somewhere. ^^;
me, in my nerdiness, LUFFS anime music. but it's usually the jazzier, low-tone, sadder, instrumental-y kind of anime music. Yoko Kanno = ::faint and die::. i love her music to pieces, from the jazzy things in CB to the more ethereal music from Escaflowne.
underground hip-hop makes me happy. stuff like Fat Jon and Madlib, the kinda style that Samurai Champloo's OSTs are like. when i heard that Fat Jon was on the first OST, i melted. they had to scrape me off of the ground from glee. ^^;
and woohoo for 70s music~! i love it! Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass, the Temptations, the Chi-lites, etc. there's an oldies station nearby my home that plays nothing but that kind of music 24-7. ^^
but those are just general favorites. i feel like such a bad person for not saying more about all the other genres i like, but i fear that my post would take over the world. ninja
