So we have a day that I'll be making the candy sushi. Just the rolls. We (hubby and I) have a bible study class that lasts a few more weeks and I signed up to do snacks for one week. I'll be sure to get pictures and show you all. I'm so excited I can't wait to make them. We're going to try and stick to a theme, so i was wondering if anyone had ideas on what else would be good japanese-ish snacks to take. I want to be able to take a dip type thing or other apetizer type thing, meats & cheeses, and dessert (which will be the sushi candy). Sorry if I'm rambling here. xd I'll check back and see if anyone has ideas that might help.

I'm having the same issue. XD My original Theme was Italian. Had the whole menu planed out and then I was like "CANDY SUSHI!!! I must make that!" So that themem pretty much went out the window. XD Hubby says I don't need a theme so we may have Italian everything else and sushi for dessert. xD

*smacks back to top of forum* xd I made the sushi today! biggrin It was so fun to make... harder than I thought, but oh so fun! Yay Picture! (picture is in the first post also)

Kitty litter cake.... That's gross! I must make that too! xd *saves the recipe*

Oh Kyoki, We're doing rice balls and chicken, red and green bell peper and pineapple kabobs to go with the candy sushi. Also bringing some green tea with us. 3nodding

I'll update again tomorrow evening after bible study and let ya'll know how they went over.

Thank you! And they were gobbled up! The kids couldn't keep their hands out of them. xd And the adults loved them too. Overall I'd say they went over well. I must make these again. xd
